Heavy lamp from a recent estate. There is some damage to three of the panels. You can see it best in the last picture. It does work. It has been re-wired and was very nicely done. Great detail work on the frame. The total height is 23" and the shade is 17" in diameter at the bottom. A magnet sticks to the base but not the shade. Please keep in mind that most of our items are used and will show normal age wear. We try to describe the items we sell as honestly as possible. Please ask any questions before you bid. Century Purple Glass Lamp- Rare Color This listing is for a beautiful original antique early 19th century ... moreglass bell jar lantern lamp. This lantern comes with its smoke shield and is a beautiful very dark purple amethyst color(the lid is lighter in color but I do believe it is the original smoke shield for this lantern) It retains its original brass fittings and chain. The shield measures 10-3/8" across and the bell jar measures 9-5/8" high and 8-1/2" across. Condition is good. There are manufacturing flaws and irregularities in the glass(air bubbles and lines and folds in the glass on the lid. These are not cracks or damages but happened in the making) The glass has a few air bubbles that were broken through on the surface but there are no chips or cracks and no repairs. There is just the usual chipping along the opening hole in the lid where the chain comes through(that is normal for this type of lamp) One of the peacock heads has lost its little clip that folds over the bell jar edge(see pictures) but that does not compromise the stability or ability to safely hang this lamp. This lamp has not been converted for electricity and is in good original antique condition(even the glass is covered in age dirt, but I will leave the cleaning to the new owner in case they like the aged look) Please excuse any glares(white patches) that you may see in the pictures. These are caused by reflections of light on the surface and are not on the actual object itself. Please note that I am located in the Netherlands(Amsterdam. Holland) which means that this item will be shipped from Europe. I have up for sale a wonderful vintage circa 1910-1920s signed H A BEST LAMP CO Chicago. Ill USA lamp base- originally meant for a slag glass lamp. The ring diameter for the ring fitter would be approx 2-3/4" diameter. The lamp is very ornate and has the original antique gold finish. It stands approx 22" no including the finial which may or may not be the original but looks good together. It is in Very Good to Excellent Condition- No damages but a few minor manufacturing mold imperfections- a few small inclusions- basically what you see in pic#2- maybe a couple more but nothing thats any real big deal. No chips. No cracks, No repairs, its as it was from the factory. I am unsure if the sockets are original or not- The top caps have a bright yellowish tint but the bottoms look correct- I am not sure just pointing out what I see. Antique Caramel & Multi Color Slag Glass 16 Panel Table Lamp
Antique Caramel and Multi colored Slag Glass 16 panel table lamp. Lamp measures approximately 22" tall with shade. One of the large glass panels is broken and one of the small glass panels is partially broken. The broken pieces for the large glass panel come with the lamp. I do not know how complete the pieces and if they fit properly. There are no glass pieces for the small glass panel. This lamp is working and looks like it was re wired not too long ago and has new bulb sockets. There is normal wear on lamp body from age. But i did not see any damage or breaks to the metal work on the shade or the base of lamp. I don't know if all the Slag glass panels are original. Lamp is from old estate.

This is a Great Old Green Slag Glass Table Lamp Shade in very good condition! It is an 8 Panel shade and all the glass is damage free it also has all it's little tabs. I see no makers marks so I do not know who made the shade or it's age my best guess is 1940s but it could be earlier. It looks to be very well made. There are a few small areas of finish loss but 99% of the original finish seems to be there. The shade from panel to panel is 17 1/2" and the shade weighs 7.10 pounds. Thank you for your interest! This is one Beautiful 7 PANEL RAINAUD SLAG GLASS TABLE LAMP. I think it is wonderful and represents the very best of the Craftsmanship and pure Artistic output of Massachusetts and New England during the 1900`s all the way into the early Thirties. I also believe this is all original except for the obvious replacement of one of the Lampholders. They will never again make Lamps like this.using these materials and methods. In the manner these works of Art were created and manufactured. I like to imagine that working in these shops was Fun and Productive. I imagine an artist/designer coming up with a idea. then drawing a sketch, then each worker responsible for his or her part of the product fabricating or producing their best interpretation of the Sketch using the materials and methods on site. Cord is in good condition, and both sockets and pulls operate as intended and were working at time of listing. Unsigned work. Markings on the pulls, have"Patented 9,and either an"11" or"V" its hard to tell. No chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs. Here is a nice green slag 8 panel shade in good condition. Signed Bradley& Hubbard on the top and four more places on the bottom. Every other panel holder on the bottom is stamped. Measures 15 and 1/2 inches point to point on the bottom. 6 and 1/2 tall by 5 and 1/4" point to point on the top. The metal has green patina in spots. Beautiful carmel swirl slag glass curved panels with a leaf and floral metal overlay lamp shade. 19.5" 8 panels, 6.5" tall, the base has eight slag panels with a Gothic church design, interior light inside the base with a off and on switch, total height 23" unsigned, heavy over twenty one pounds. Needs restoring and sold as found, all the slag glass is intact, no chips or cracks, just normal manufacture inclusions on the glass, this is a things that needs to be done to bring this spectacular lamp back to life, which I should have done myself but will leave it up to the new owner. For auction I have a Beautiful 1930's Bent Slag Glass TABLE LAMP Signed SALEM BROS. with all the original Finish and Patina. All the original filigree is intact. There is some minor paint loss and this can be seen if you look at the top photos of the shade. Another issue is one of the clips that holds the glass in place needs some work. Most of the clip is there but not enough to bend over the glass see photos. The last issue is also a minor one. at one time or another this lamp has been rewired and they used an ugly white cord. The Salem is an interesting one. Spelling it SALE-M Bros. over a clipper ship(see my last photo) This lamp base measures 23 1/2" tall including the finial and 7 3/8" across the base. Antique Art Deco Reverse Painted Glass Panel Boudor or Table Lamp
I have a wonderful boudoir or end table lamp. It is comprised of three curved glass panels that have scenes painted on the interior of the glass. They look to be of Asian gardens but 50 to 60 percent of the paint is missing so tough to tell. The outside of the glass is ribbed giving it a watery look and the cast metal has applied gold paint. Very ornate design with minor loss of paint to the exterior. Some darkening to the interior, top mostly, and the paint loss issue. Cord and plug has no switch, it just lights up when you plug it in. About 12" tall over all, 10" when top cap is removed and 4.25" diameter at its widest. Thanks for looking.

Dome shape shade measures approx 16" across. Total height of lamp is 22" Nice bent caramel colored panels. No panel damage. A little minor wear to gold finish. However finish is in very good overall condition. Appears to have been rewired with modern sockets. Works well. See my other listings for additional vintage and antique treasures.
