Antique Bent Slag Glass Lamp Miller Bradley & Hubbard Pittsburgh, Handel, Empire
This is a beautiful nice sized bent slag glass lamp. The shade is a combination variegated deep carmel bent slag glass with a beautiful look to it. The filigree work is just wonderful and sets off the colors in the shade. The lamp is a combination of brass. Copper, bronze and pot metal with a great golden patinated finish near 100% The lamp stands 20 inches tall. The shade is 16 inches wide and about 6 1/2 inches tall. There are 2 vintage sockets working off of one pull chain. One pull turns on one light, second turns on the second light, third pull goes back to one light and fourth pull turns it all off, it all works well. The lamp has been rewired with correct wiring and works and looks just great. This beautiful lamp is unmarked except for a#1 on the base. It may well be a Miller lamp as I had a signed Miller lamp earlier with this same ... moreshade on it. It is just a wonderful looking lamp for you to enjoy in your home.

Vintage Multicolor Slag Glass Bent Tulip Pendant Lamp
Up for auction is an art deco style vintage bent tulip pendant lamp. The lamp measures about 9" tall and 7" wide. It has 5 panels and each is a different color" White. Pink, carmel, green and blue. The metal is brass and has tarnished to a dark brown. The cord to the pendant has been cut and to use it, the lamp would need to be re-wired. The socket appears to be intact. The pink glass panel on this lamp is cracked as seen in the photos. The rest of the lamp appears to be in sound condition. Please bid with confidence. This is an antique vintage 8 panel slag glass lamp shade. I could not find any makers mark or signature but I did not remove any panels to look under them. It is 20 inches wide by 7 inches high. It has a 3 1/4 inch opening at the top. The frame is in excellent condition. There is one panel missing. All clips are there. This is a very nice looking shade. This is a large beautiful signed Miller Bent Slag Glass Lamp. It stands tall at 24 inches to the top of the finial and is on a 7 3/4 In Sculpted Base. The base is marked"ML CO. 240" The shade is 18 or 19 in in diameter, depending on where you measure it and is 8 in tall. All the glass is complete, no cracks no chips. The well executed designs are complete on the shade with a minor small missing piece and the vibrant colors in the finish on the shade are great to look at. The base and column are beautifully sculpted with a great golden brown patinated finish. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfect. Beautiful Bradley and Hubbard lamp(see photo of mark) with metal design gille around outside of shade and color painted on inside of glass to show through grille. Has very Mission look to it. Especially base. Original to old cord and plug-not sure. Sockets are"Leviton" No cracks or breaks of any kind in glass. Very good condition, although of course lamp is close to 100 years old and there is an AS IS element to it. Shade is approx. 18 inches wide and entire lamp, top to bottom, is approx. 21 inches tall. This is a vintage Empire leaded base bent panel purple colored slag glass lamp. It has eight panels with what looks like an oil lamp with vines and a mirror with a boy on top. This is found in the book. Electric Lighting of the Twenty's& Thirty's. The shade and base however are a union and not made for each other. It measures 22 1/2" tall and the shade is 7" tall x 16" in diameter. The base measures 9 1/4" in diameter. The lamp has been repainted and there is some paint loss. There are no chips, cracks or repair in the glass. The lamp is in good working condition as you can see in the pictures. It has a cord that I would not put on that type of lamp. This beautiful lamp was found at an upstate NY Estate. The glass is white with caramel color streaks. Gorgeous ornate detail to both the base and shade. The metal on the shade and base is non-magnetic and gilded with gold leaf. I do not find a Makers Mark on the lamp so I won't venture a guess as to the maker. This is a large lamp with wonderful craftsmanship. As noted in detail below. One glass panel has a crack CONDITION The shade frame is beautiful with just a few spots where the gold finish has worn- non-obvious places like inside edges. The base has only a couple spots of wear on the finish. Slag glass overlay table lamp produced by the Miller Lamp Company about the years 1908 to 1920. Clearly marked underneath the base with“ MILLER” and the number“ 956” Including the finial. The lamp stands around 24 inches tall with a shade diameter of 17 inches(it is 6-sided) The base has a diameter of 7 1/2 inches. The metal overlay shows a floral tulip design painted in pastel colors around the edge which covers the lower part of the caramel glass panel. The metal stand ends in a base that also shows a floral design. Possibly roses. The shade is not marked from what I can see. The lamp works flawlessly and it really lights up a room with a warm earth tone colors. There have been some restorations. Paint. Wiring, etc. The lamp appears to be in great shape for its age. Offered for your consideration is this antique 6 panel slag glass lamp shade only. As seen in the photos. It has fractures in three of the panels. After taking the photos, I taped the front and back of each of the fractures to secure for shipping. You will have to peal the tape off. The repair job was not done well on the fractures, so a couple sections aren't secure enough not to tape. The diameter of the lamp is approximately 17 3/4" It was from an estate of a 68 year old. This item is a gorgeous aqua. White and rose slag glass lamp with very elaborate filigree on the shade. The filigree is perfect and the glass all appears to be original. The finial and holder are correct and in excellent condition. The only defects on the shade are on the interior. There are two missing clips and one small chip on an edge of a glass panel that was probably made with the original cut on the glass, it doesn't show from the outside. The panels are slightly loose and there is some dust under the filigree that I could not get too. A good professional cleaning would be in order. The shade is 17 inches in diameter and 12 inches deep, the finial is about 3 inches high. The lamp base is an antique lamp but probably not original to the shade. It has been rewired and the sockets have been replaced. It is made from tubular metal ... moreand these lamps always had cast brass or bronze bases. It is 21 inches high and has a heavy weight in the base which makes it safe to use with the shade. It works well and looks nice with the shade but is not original. For auction I have a Beautiful 1930's Bent Slag Glass TABLE LAMP Signed SALEM BROS. with all the original Finish and Patina. All the original filigree is intact. There is some minor paint loss and this can be seen if you look at the top photos of the shade. Another issue is one of the clips that holds the glass in place needs some work. Most of the clip is there but not enough to bend over the glass see photos. The last issue is also a minor one. at one time or another this lamp has been rewired and they used an ugly white cord. The Salem is an interesting one. Spelling it SALE-M Bros. over a clipper ship(see my last photo) This lamp base measures 23 1/2" tall including the finial and 7 3/8" across the base. This is a beautiful vintage LARGE and heavy metal and bent slag glass lamp. It has a metal filigree shade with six slag glass panels. The panels have a blue-violet top slag glass and a lower green slag glass. The metal shade has trees and lake scenes on each panel. The metal base is very ornate and all the metal parts are a pale yellow color. The lamp has two bulbs with pull chains for on and off operation. No makers mark. The lamp is 24" tall to the top of the finial. The shade is 20" across and 10" high and very heavy. Great condition. We always recommend that lamps be rewired for everyday use.
