Each sheet is approx. 18" X 22" and the maps are 15" X 18 3/4" Every notable landmark. Geyser, or waterhole is identified on at least one map. The legends are extensive and very colorful. Most of these remaining complete atlases are in private collections or museums or antique book stores and sell for $600 on up. Few individuals will ever own this atlas and it is worth consideration. Here is a poor to fair condition United States Geologic Survey 15 Minute Series Topographical MAP of the SPENCER Quadrangle of the STATE OF MAINE. It is the 1928 edition. It DOES NOT HAVE the green overprint that shows forested areas. It shows the towns of T4R5. T5R6, Hobbstown, and part of Appleton, Jim Pond, Flagstaff, T5R7, T3R4, and Kirby This map is in poor to fair condition. There are many wrinkles and folds. And some small edge tears and stains. There is some tape residue along the margins, and a spots where small holes have worn through the folds. This map must have gone on a fishing trip or two! Here is a fair condition United States Geologic Survey 15 Minute Series Topographical MAP of the GREENLAW Quadrangle of the STATE OF MAINE. It is the 1944 reprint of the 1933 edition. It DOES NOT HAVE the green overprint that shows forested areas. It shows most of the towns of T10R7. T11R7, and T12R7, and parts of T10R6, T10R8, T11R8, T12R8, Garfield, and Nashville. Also, it shows Greenlaw Mountain and part of the Machias River. This map is in fairly condition. There is moderate yellowing. Wrinkling and soiling. The right hand margin has been cut off, and there is a tear at the bottom edge. But, the mapped area itself is still very legible. Great for the diehard MAINE map collector! This map shows the region around the East Branch of Delaware River before the City of NY built the Pepacton Reservoir near Downsville. NY. Condition: There are some stains around the edges. There are 2 small holes in the upper/top border area. There is scotch tape covering these holes/tears. There are no other holes or tears.
