The map you get may be worn or lightly torn along the fold lines due to the acidity of the paper and being folded for years. They may also be discolored or mottling spots again due to the acidity of the paper. The borders of the maps may also have small tears. The last one we saw in auction ran over $1400.00. And worldcat.org shows only one of these in the major libraries. This map is in great condition and was printed on good stock paper. See first scan. This is a large 1892 Railroad Map of Idaho. It measures 25 X 17 inches. This map has listed the railroad companies and area in which they cover. See top lower scans. This map is genuine. Map was taken from the Cram's Railway Atlas which is near impossible to find and very expensive when found. All maps are sent carefully rolled in a secure pvc shipping tube by priority mail. The 1864 issue of the Family Atlas is the first true Johnson and Ward atlas. Johnson maps from the Family Atlas are notable for their unique borders. Johnson maps are known for their size. Accuracy, detail, and stunning, vivid hand coloring. This was at a time when the boundaries of these territories were still being determined. With an odd little spur in the northwestern corner of Wyoming.
