Condition: Nice piece- Used item shows signs of wear- normal for age binding is 80% No pencil marks, wear from handling around edges-small tears/staining/soiling/yellowing etc. The vintage sheet music we are selling is a variety of used pieces from 1900's to 1970's. The conditions will vary from good to excellent. These are used pieces and do show normal signs of wear. Normal wear may consist of names written on cover or inside sheets. Pencil marks/notes, torn to separated binding, wrinkles/crinkles, folds/dog ears, small tears, store or owner's sticker etc. Pictures speak a 1000 words! You are bidding on a vintage wall mount of a real good sized Spotted Bass from Kentucky. In striking position. I know because my good buddy caught it back in the early 70's. It's a little dusty and dirty from age. The fish is 18 1/2" long and it weighed 3+ lbs. when it was caught. Heck! the lake dropped a foot when he brought it out! The fins. Besides the dorsal fin, are backed with cardboard. I called a taxidermy shop and was told if it has cardboard backed fins, it is a skin mount. But, that is all I know about the mount type. Description: One super rare witness statement in regards to the Yellow Banks on the Ohio River near what is today Paducah. Kentucky. The statement, taken in Jackson County, Alabama, Ala. AL. takes testimony from a man who traveled the Ohio River in 1779. It is neat to read and is one of the earliest documents to originate from Jackson County since Alabama and jackson County were created in 1819. Condition: The document is in fair shape with seperation at many of the folds. It has an old tape repair as well. The paper was once wax sealed when it was folded as can be seen by the remains of the wax. You won't see another one of these. Ask any questions and I'l answer them the best I can. IRON mortar uncovered in a Ohio Valley outbuilding. WEST of PADUCAH! It comes from one of the first settlement families in the region and was transported by their Pennsylvania ancestors. This impressive forged iron mortar AND pestle dates to around 1810/1820. Made in eastern Pennsylvania(according to family lore) it went along the trek to the wild hinterlands of the wilds of the Kentucky outback as late 18th/ early 19th century pioneers scouted out new. March 27, 1994) was a politician from the US state of Kentucky. After graduating from the University of Louisville, he rose through the judicial system of Jefferson County and was elected lieutenant governor in 1947, serving under Governor Earle C. Clements. He was called Kentucky's first"working" lieutenant governor because, in addition to his constitutional duties in the Kentucky Senate, In 1950, Clements resigned as governor to assume a seat in the U.S. Senate, elevating Wetherby as the 48th Governor.
