This is a large 1903 Crams map of Idaho. It measures 14 1/2 X 22 inches. This map is genuine. Not a copy or reprint. It may have a few handling flaws as to be expected in a map this age and large. Please enlarge upper scan for condition of map. Map was taken from the Cram's Modern Atlas which is near impossible to obtain. We take special care in shipping these maps as there are no replacements. Compare our low price for this map with similar offered by the largest map dealer in the United States. Vintage 1963 USGS Map - Casino Lakes Idaho V Good Cnd T
1963 USGS Topographic map of Casino Lakes. Idaho, Custer County, N4407.5-W11445/7.5, Made from photographs taken in 1957, field checked in 1963. AMS 3072 III NE-Series V893. 22" x 27" size. I don't see any cities or towns anywhere on the map. It mainly consists of the Challis and Sawtooth National Forests. These are in almost the exact center of Idaho. The lowest altitude is around 6000' and goes up to Chase Lookout Mountain- 9954' but there may be points higher and lower. The map is in very good condition. With good color, no significant tears or rips, no marking or writing. The map has been in a roll since the 1960s with the bottom of the map exposed to the air. This exposed part is slightly darkened and dirty, as visible in the main photo. There are corner holes from pins and there is a fold along the bottom of the ... moretopographic part of the map. The paper is also quite yellowed. I usually ship USPS. But I look at other ways to get the lowest cost. I will combine shipping. Shipping weight 2 pounds in a mailing tube. One of the joys natural to most collectors is to find and own a scarce or illusive item. If a U.S. Coin or stamp were to exist with only four to five copies known. The value of such an item would be out of most collectors price range. Here is a chance to own just such an item. According to worldcat.org only one other edition of this atlas is still around and it is in the Cornell University Library. It is possible another copy may surface in the future as it could be stored away unknown to the collecting public. This rare black and white map(usually this size map has a fold, this one does not! measures approximately 12.5" by 18" and is in very good condition- there is some very light soiling. The ripple in the image is really not as pronounced as it shows. I think the sunlight emphasized it. Your item will be packaged in a plastic sleeve. Vintage 1951(I'm assuming 1951. As it has population numbers listed for 1950) Tidewater Associated Flying"A" map of Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Very colorful graphics that still"pop. Doesn't appear to be faded at all. Very minimal yellowing if there is any. Map appears to have been unfolded maybe a couple of times in the last 60 years. No rips or tears. This map opens to 18" x 24" and has great detail on old road alignments. With cartography by H.M. Gousha. On the reverse side there are inset plans of Boise, Pocatello, and Spokane, as well as maps of Glacier, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton National Parks. The map locates Craters of the Moon National Monument. With text describing"recent volcanic activity. The map was distributed by the Continental Oil Company in 1941 and is dated by the code number in the lower margin: 12-O. Population data is from the 1940 census. Little triangle symbols locate Conoco gas stations in Idaho and western Montana. There's an ad for Conoco's Bronz-z-z Gasoline on the back ... morecover. Condition: This map is in good.
