This is a complete. Early 20th century two-sided dissected wooden puzzle map of the United States and territories, made by Milton Bradley Co. The 63 piece, 48-state map includes insets of Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the Philippines. It is brightly colored and shows major railroads, rivers, state capitals and major cities. When this map was made circa 1905 the capital of Oklahoma was Guthrie, later moved to Oklahoma City(1910) In Idaho, Boise is Boise City. The map measures 20" wide by 14 1/4" long. On the other side of the puzzle is a chart of the flags of the world with Uncle Sam carrying the map. As you can see, all of the pieces are there. On two of the puzzle pieces the small pointed tip is missing. We do not have the original box.

Antique 1864 Johnson and Ward United States Large Map in Vintage Frame LOOK!
Hi I have up for auction a antique map from 1894. This is by Johnson and Ward and is of the United States. Has hand coloring and is very cool. It is large as well and is framed. The piece is around 18x26.5 inches. The frame is from the late 40's early 50's. Map and frame is around 30x21 inches. Frame hs nic's and scrathces and dings. Please look at the photo's to see the maps condition. Around the outer edges around the map there is chipping and small tears. Has a center fold which makes me think this was in a book. Has typical yellow from age and some browning from age as well. I am not a map dealer. But if you look at the photo's this still looks very good. This map was made during the civil war period. So the map can no longer be folded. There is a repaired tear at the bottom near the centerfold.
