This is a nice clean map of United States from 1846 by Duvotenay. In excellent shape with only minor staining and one ink spot in margin. Does not detract from beauty. Further there is an original outline in blue ink of the United States at that time as issued by the publisher. Also there is a 19th-century annotation in the margin of"Albany. This is an interesting map in that it shows California and New Mexico and other large western United States parts not being part of the United States yet.
