Framed, these make great wall decor for an office, den or just about any room in the house. Condition: Good. Lots of dark aging around the margins. Which just adds to the appeal of the old maps. 1930's Depression Era Quilt Texas Lone Star Hand Stitched Quilt Here is a wonderful Depression(1930's-1940's) era hand quilted quilt in the Texas Star- Lone Star pattern. I don't believe the quilt has ever been laundered and possibly never used. The white fabric of the quilt is muslin- more than likely feed/flour sacking. Overall size is 70-1/4" x 78" The star.Itself, measures 53" Making up the star,is a combination of solid cotton fabrics in a well-designed laid out colors scheme. It is a striking quilt. Each diamond shaped piece used in the star is 1-1/4" x 3-1/2" The stitching is 8 stitches to the inch. There are three patterns of quilting used on the quilt. The green border, measuring 5-1/8" wide, is quilted in a diamond pattern, as is the inner border of white. A pattern developed around ... morethe larger star, are four quilted smaller stars measuring 14-1/4" square. Each of these stars are situated on a"corner" Alternating with these stars and the points of the large star, are triangle shaped quilting motif. Take a good look at the qult as I think you will notice this lovely design. Edges of the quilt are turned inward and machine stitched. Condition: Although stored for many years, you will find a tad(just a tad) of oxidation and a tiny tiny damaged area in one of the colored blocks. In my opinion, I feel it was caught on something. Up for auction is an original. Antique/vintage Coca-Cola bottle. I would naturally suppose that this was originally a syrup bottle, although, the paper pharmacy label stating it is"Distilled Water" makes me think that either Coca Cola company sold distilled water to pharmacies, or, the pharmacies used Coca Cola bottles to hold distilled water. The 5 digit phone number on the pharmacy label signifies that it was used sometime before the 1960's. I would guess this bottle to be late forties to early fifties. Label is intact but only in decent condition. Still readable and with good color. Lid is intact and in good condition. The bottle was made by Duraglas. Antique Metal Counter Bell Hotel Bell Store Bell Style Gold Texas Provenance O.K. I still have some new farm auction stuff to list, as well as some South Dakota/Wyoming vacation stuff to list but also recently drove with a friend out to Eastern Ohio. Stopped at two barn sales along the way- both Amish homes, and did I get some fabulous finds. Some very old primitives and antiques, and I’m thrilled to post them for you this week. I’ll be listing just about every day this week, so be sure to keep checking! Oh. You know how I love it when the treasures that I find talk to me- and this one literally sings to me! What I have is an antique steel(with a gold finish and an iron clapper) counter bell. The kind that you'd see in hotels or old country stores. It is in excellent condition, with a fabulous loud resounding ring, and measures 3" ... moretall and 3" diameter at the base. It weighs just under 1/2 lb. The dark gold finish is in excellent condition with very little wear. You can see only very light spotty surface rust on the underside/inside of the bell that is very very minor. Someone clearly cared for and took very well care of the bell, as it was special to them. I purchased the bell with the piece of paper shown in my photos- it was attached to it, actully krinkled into the underside of the bell. The paper is an old East Texas Val-Pak Fiirestone add that looks to be from 1988(it has a 7/88 mark, and I'm guessing that reflects a date? Anyhoo, on the other side of the add, the former owner hand wrote the story of this old bell in black marker. It reads, This bell handed down to Etta norene Foster Teague from Leila Redman Sivey. She used it in her home in Corpus Christi Texas, to ring for Dr. Spivey when she needed him. Be sure top screw is tight(top part) so will ring louder. Best not to remove top part. She died May 11, 1954. And they are right about the top part! What a sweet piece this is. I'm hoping the next owner will appreciate and care for it as much as the former owner did. Please ask if you

Beautiful Sterling Silver spoon with"Waco" carved into the bowl. At the very top of the front of the handle we see"Texas" followed by a carved portrait of Sam Houston. The Heroes Monument, the Confederate Monument and ending in an intricate flower detail. The back of the spoon's handle has the great seal of Texas followed by a carving of the Alamo, the Mission San Francisco de la Espada and the Mission San Jose. The detailing found on this piece is just amazing! This spoon measures close to 6 inches and weighs approximately 21 grams. This is a great piece in excellent condition. A true collector's must have!

This is an original 1940S World War 2 medical corps have you ever seen one of these before? I do not know how to measure clothing but I would say this is a size small if someone would like exact measurements please let me know some of his cloths seem to be about medium standard size. All of the clothing items I am listing are from the collection of Naval Lieutenant Ortner J. Stratman. Ortner was a Naval Lieutenant on the 7 th fleet during the WW2 era please read the history of the 7 th fleet below if you are interested. Ortner resided in Dodgeville Wisconsin after the war and owned Iowa Title and Abstract Company. These articles of clothing were immaculately stored and preserved the only drawback was he used mothballs so some of the items have a slight mothball odor. With a profusion of place names as well as topographical shading. Printed on quality paper which retains its inherent structural flexibility and soundness. In near VG or better condition. Minor light surface age wear but the image remains clean and very attractive[note: we grade very conservatively and always seek to disclose any noteworthy flaws] The printed area remains visually pleasing. ANTIQUE ANSONIA "STAR OF TEXAS" CLOCK WITH ALARM, RUNNING WELL
This Ansonia parlor clock has what I am calling the"Star of Texas" The movement looks good and it is running well here in my basement. There are no guarantees on a clock this old however. It is in a very dark wood that I believe is walnut. The trim is all in nickel plate. A very nice antique that would look very proud on a Texas mantle.
