It appears all the inner workings of the phone are there also. The crank does work and it does generate enough current to ring the electric bell. As seen in the last picture the hand set is missing the mouth piece cover. On the end of the talk stem there is a small plaque that reads.Western Electric Company West Texas Telephone Co. On the top of phone cabinet it looks to be missing a bell but when I tired researching this phone to find out what exactly went there but I was unable to find one like this one. I believe this is a fraternity or sorority ring from the early to mid 1900's. I was unable to find information based on the crest- Torch over a harp with pi and mu symbols. It was a box from Arthur A Everts Co. Dallas. Texas. It's a very attractive ring, silver in color, no other markings other than what's on the crest. The ring size measures 6.5. Up for bids is this vintage 1930's hand stitched quilt top size 78" by 90" The corners still need to be stitched. There are 21 applique blocks. The quilt is made of a lightweight cotton sateen. There are a few very faint age spots on the off white fabric that can barely be seen- see photo. US shipping is free. The quilt is completely hand stitched as far as I can tell. Offered here is a RARE item that is well over 100 years old. It is a small metal star. I THINK it may be a watch fob. But it may also have dangled from a ribbon or medal. The small opening on the top is too small for the end of a watch chain to have clipped onto. The front of the star is embossed: 3RD ANN'L COWBOYS CONVENTION.HASKELL, TEX. JULY 27-29.1898. The back side has the manufacturer's mark: SCHWAABS& S. CO.MILWAUKEE. The last letters is"MILWAUKEE" are rubbed away. The center has the embossed image of a cow, bull or steer. The star seems to be made of copper, brass or bronze. It measures just under 2 inches wide. The condition is FINE, with only minor wear. I have never seen another example. Even on the Internet, I was unable to find any mention about this item or the event itself. Who knows, it"MAY" ... morebe the only known surviving example. If NOT, there are certainly only a FEW! Antique Texas Farmhouse Round Metal Bed Frame Full Sized Rustic Simple Character
We purchased this Full Sized Metal Farmhouse Bed Frame from a LITERAL Texas farmhouse estate sale over 27 years ago. We were told by the family that the bed had been in the house for at least 60 years. So it is most likely 1920's or earlier vintage. The black paint was put on in 1986 and I began stripping all the paint from it right before I found out I was pregnant. now we have a toddler, so I have no time to finish this project! It is a solid piece of furniture and will look great with a little TLC! Comes with headboard, footboard, two side rails, all four corner hardware, and eight wood foundation slats. LOCAL pickup ONLY!

An ORIGINAL antique 1757 French map of LOUISIANE from L'HISTOIRE GENERALE DES VOYAGES. J. N. BELLIN was the official engraver to the Marine at the time and produced a number of the maps published in L'HISTOIRE. Possibly the most accurate map of the region at the time it shows scores of settlements. Forts, and Indian Villages along the coast and inland of what is now the Southeast from the Atlantic Coast to west Texas. A number of Indian Tribes are named as well including the APACHES, CHICACHAS, TCHATAS, and CHERAQUIS. Note from the photos that the date 1757 is printed in the legend. Note also that the map has significant old damage from bookworm moths. ~Beautiful Sterling Silver Collector's Spoon~ Carved into the bowl is a cowboy on a horse. With the wording"Cowboy" across the top and"Dallas" on the bottom. The handle is also intricately carved with the great seal of Texas. Followed by a bull. Continuing down into the stem is the word"Texas" The back of the handle features carvings of the E Pluribus Unum seal and a carving of Lady Justice.
