Up for bid is this very nice full size violin project. The top is no longer with this instrument. And a new top has been started. This violin displays fine workmanship throughout. I hate to get rid of it, but its got to go. Overall condition is good except the top and a peg box crack that is pictured. This instrument has really nice lines, and fine purfling work on the back. The maple has an awsome wide flame pattern. Back AND sides are bookmatched. Beautifull scroll work. Fully lined and blocked. No accessories. Will need a fingerboard. Good Quality old Violin Bow for Restoration. Great stiff old wood Circa 1890
Good Quality Full size(Exactly 29 inches long) old Violin bow. Bow is made from good old wood that is stiff and will be strong. Bow is in overall good condition except two slight cracks near frog end. This will be an easy and minor repair. The bow is Most likely an old Dresden bow but may possibly be a"Saxony" bow. These make great strong bows. It weighs 53.4 grams without hair. Will probably be about 58-60 once rehaired. I believe that the frog is Original to the bow. This bow will be well worth the effort. Shipping is $12 in a tube to USA. Overseas is $22. I've got several hundred bows that I've stock piled over the years so I'm gonna be listing some old bows in the next few months. Nice Quality Full size(Exactly 29 3/8 inches long) old Violin bow. Bow is made from good old Pernambuco that is stiff and will be strong. Bow needs attention on the frog end and has two repaired cracks that need to be looked at by a repairman. The head needs to be examined also. It appears it has been repaired at some point. The bow is stamped E R HOYER. These are usually a great bow. It weighs 57.8 grams without hair. Will probably be about 62 or so once rehaired. 1920s WURLITZER 3" X 15" WOOD SNARE DRUM FOR RESTORATION PROJECT RARE COMPLETE
This item is a Wurlitzer 3" X 15" wood snare drum that I purchased at the Rose Bowl flea market in Pasadena several years ago. This drum is a restoration project. I have dismantled the drum. All the parts are there, both upper and lower hoops, the wire snares and 10 single tension lugs. All the metal parts are rusty but not frozen up, the metal parts will need to be cleaned up and possibly be nickle plated 4 or 5 of the snare clips are rusted and pitted some, the part that actually tensions the heads. The drum shell has been painted black, I can't identify the wood. The bottom rim/hoop, the one where the snares are installed will need to be re-glued, it has come undone, shouldn't be a big job to re-glue it. The snares are the old fashioned wire type, there are 12 snare wires. The snare adjustment mechanism is intact and ... moreworking. The top hoop has a WURLITZER badge attached. It says" WURLITZER MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS SINCE 1856" some of the letters on the badge have faded some. New heads will have to be supplied, both batter and snare heads. I'm not sure about the age of the drum, from what I have learned from my research is it was marketed by Wurlitzer in the 1920s although not actually manufactured by the Wurlitzer Company. The 3 3/4" Bell has a few dents on the bow, the tone hole has been resoldered and it has some tarnish spots. The Neck has a few small dents and it has tarnish spots. The Lower Joint has a bad cork, a 1 1/2" tight crack at the top and 3 splits inside the female socket. The Upper Joint has 2 repaired cracks at the top. Antique Vintage c.1920s Wood Clarinet for Restoration or Display
Aside from a few years playing in junior high school I know little about clarinets. This was my grandfather's and he played in the U. S. Marine Band during or shortly after WWI(I haven't been able to document the exact years) He was born in 1898 so my guess is he played it about 191 7- 3 0. There is no mouthpiece. The pads and corks are in poor shape. All keys and mechanical parts seem to work fine. Tot al assembled length without mouthpiece is 24 3/4 inches. This clock is is in pieces which are primarily wood(looks like Walnut) The pendulum is brass and wood. The works are mostly brass. The beat scale is porcelain looking(or celluloid) Markings: None.but a clock collector friend of mine says it is most likely German. Measurements: This clock when assembled would measure about 26" tall. Not including the pendulum and just over 13" wide at the top. The pendulum measures about 9 3/4" long and 4 1/4" in diameter. The face measures about 5 3/4" in diameter. Condition: Overall the pieces seem to be in pretty good shape but it needs re-assembly. Etc. You are bidding on one incomplete Leonard Bailey Victor Number 6 wood plane as pictured. All I have is what is shown! It is marked with"VICTOR LB PLANE" and"TRADE MARK" on the front knob. Overall length is about 17-13/16" And the iron would be 2-3/8" in width. Condition of the body would be much better with a cleaning. There is lots and lots of surface rust. Including some heavy rust in places on the bottom and on the left side, with some scattered pitting in a few areas, and probably some more pitting under some of the rust. The front knob and rear handle are intact except for a small casting flaw in the rear handle shown in the last picture. There are no cracks or chips or chunks missing from any of the castings. Offering for sale a vintage Lemaire SML(Strasser Marigaux Lemaire) wood clarinet. This clarinet needs restoration so you will be buying as is. Total length is 26 inches. It does have the Lemaire SML Paris France marking on the bell shaped section I just couldn't get a good picture. I have not cleaned or done anything to this piece. I will leave that up to someone that knows what they are doing. I absolutely don't know anything about musical instruments but thought possibly someone would appreciate using this one for parts or restore it to it's wonderful original condition. Up for your bidding consideration is this rare A.A. Farland Beveled-Top Wood Rim Open Back Banjo from the first part of the 20th Century. These banjos are very hard to come by. Great carved relief musical note on both sides of the heel. Nice bakelite tuners. This banjo has 19 Frets. The banjo has some condition issues as you can see in the photos. But would be a great restoration project! Most of the original parts are still there. It is missing the 5th tuning peg, and a few of the J Bolt Nuts have been replaced by non A.A. Farland parts. There is a small hole in the head and it is dirty as you can see in the pics. Also, some of the mother of pearl has popped out over the years and will need to be replaced. We found this in the basement a few days ago. This is a restoration project. Here I have a late Victorian/ early 20th century children's toy piano. You hit the keys and the" striker" hits a metal bar above making different notes. Much like an Xylophone. The top wooden piece is broken. But the existing top could be used as a template for a new piece of wood, the wood back plate is also missing which also would be an easy fix. I would recommend taking this all apart and restoring all the parts. And you would have a beautiful piece of early 20th century toy memorabilia that actually functions. The piano is solid wood. No laminates. The piano measures: 13' wide X 10' tall X 7 3/4' deep. It is separated slightly near the neck, there is a crease in the same area(pictured) wood case is missing some of the surface layer on the end. It has a paper label inside with the initials JGV Co. which I believe stands for Jackson Guldan Violin Company, Made in USA. It seems to be solid and worthy of repair.

This auction is for a violin that is all taken apart. Look at the photos for details. I believe that all of the parts are original to this instrument including the neck. The violin body is 357mm long. 14.05" The peg box and scroll still have the original varnish. The Top and Back plate are both free of any cracks. Four Vintage 1790-1810 Flathead Wood Screws, Restoration Hardware
These are four screws I took out of an A ntique Secretaire. The desk dated to between 1790 and 1810. These are original. I'm not sure what modern size they would be related to. But the length is 1 1/2 inches. The shaft just below the head i s just under a 1/4 inch thick. The tips haven't been groun d off. That's the way they were made. Some of the slots are slightly off center. But that is typical for this period. The slots won't accommodate most modern scre wdrivers. As they're typically too thick. I had to grind one down to get them out. But again, that's typical of this period. Th ree are in good cond ition. But one has a bit of the thread eaten away near the tip. A great restoration project in the making. The wheels have wooden spokes. A steel rim, and appear to be wrapped in a hard rubber. The spokes on three of the wheels are in tact and strong. One of the large wheels is missing a spoke, has a loose one, and has a loose one with a crack in the end of the wood. We can see the end of the spoke, the rim side on the loose one, has a pin in the top of the wood that appears to have been pinned through the rim.
