We spoke with the Singer representative ... moreand she said a machine this old didn't have a model name or number-that it was just called a"Standard" However, in the literature I have seen since, I notice model 12 New Family machines that are nearly identical to this one. The representative did confirm the 1871 date. The decals are still remarkably intact for a machine that is 142 years old. They represent the"Acanthus Leaves" pattern. The machine has a coffin top. Two-drawer cabinet and a set of attachments, including two original bobbins, bobbin winder"spoon, tucker, binder, seam guide, quilting bar(not pictured) and a wooden case of needles. It also has an extra open-boat shuttle that I have not tested. As it has a slightly different shape from the one that was in the machine. Two extra bobbin winders came with the machine, and will be included. A reprint of the Model 12 manual is also included. Size: At 16" deep x32" wide x40" high. Including top, the machine cabinet is rather diminutive, which I liked because it fits in small spaces. Markings: The Singer logo is present on both sides of the cast iron treadle base. The medallion on the machine's forward side says"Singer Mfg Co N Y Trademark. The front and back of the machine head say"Singer" and the top says"Singer Manufacturing Company" The Serial number is 868385. The number above the serial number just below the stitch length selector is 7753385. Origin/ Background: I bought this machine at a flea market 26 years ago. It has been with me ever since. Condition: Machine has been cleaned and oiled. And is in working condition. Pictures of the stitches are included. The India Star has the 8 primary India languages on each ray of the star spelling out singer. This was used both as an export model to India(as they were still a B ritish colony) and as a selling point back in the United Kingdom. It's rare to find these machines as most were shipped to India. ~ Model 99 k ~ Made in the Kilbowie factory. The decals on this machine are very pretty and vibrant. See pictures. The hand crank is not original to this the machine but fits great. The bobbin shuttle is present and looks good. 1923 Singer Model 128 Sewing Machine, La Vencedora Decals, Original, Excellent!
This exceptional antique Singer sewing machine is fresh from a Saginaw. Michigan estate. It is being offered in ORIGINAL, estate-fresh condition. The condition of the enameling and decals is so amazing that I should probably keep this machine, however will pass it along to you for a reasonable price. It is a model 128 and the serial number G0151841 dates it from 1923. The decals, known as"La Vencedora, are in wonderful condition with very minimal wear. Any white spots are from my camera flash, not wear. The original nickel-plated parts are still bright and shiny with no rust. While I have not tested the motor, it appears to be in good condition…the balance wheel turns easily. It is housed in the original walnut bentwood case, which has age-appropriate scuffs and scratches, but no chips or damaged veneer. Included are the original"Singer"marked ... moremotor, motor-controller, and"Singerlight. The wiring is either in excellent condition or has been replaced. Also included are many accessories: Singer"marked screwdriver, six bobbins, shuttle, original key, thread snips, tin oiling can, an early tube of Singer motor lubricant(hardened) and ten additional needles! And serial number G3682500. The serial number was issued June 10, 1914 in an allotment of 25,000. I believe this particular model is a 15-30. I had planned to restore this machine but with an upcoming cross country move in the not-too-distant future, I need to sell some of my vintage and antique sewing machine collection. The machine is in working condition but needs cleaning& adjustment; everything moves just fine, but since I haven't had an opportunity to do the needed cleaning/adjusting, have not sewed with it. Then please consider this one. This belonged to Emma, a wonderful woman 90 years young, who took outstanding care of her baby. It's a model 128 with the La Vencedora decals. It is a most amazing looking machine. I don't sew, but Emma says she used this up until she could no longer see what she was doing, about two years ago. I plugged it in and it fired right up and the light works as well(you'll have to get a new belt) It comes with all the attachments you see as well as the motor controller(which I neglected to picture) The serial number is GO336185 and it has patent dates of Oct. 10, 1911 and June 14, 190 on it. The walnut ... morebonnet is very nice with a few dings and scuff marks. This has a key to lock and unlock it as well. Emm a said that she had this serviced last about seven years ago. This early Singer model 27 comes straight from my personal collection and is in very nice condition! The serial number N372213 dates this machine to 1900. I merely wiped the dust off this machine with a little Singer oil.it is being offered in original. Unrestored condition. Everything moves freely as it should and the feed dogs are sharp and intact.this machine should sew with ease(though I have never tested it) The gold color on the bobbin winder and lower mechanism is from old, dried oil, not rust. Singer 9W sewing machines are fairly hard to find in any condition. However in this condition they are very scarce indeed! This machine comes from my personal collection and was my"keeper" example. The decals are known as"Celtic Knot" and are in exceptional condition.especially on the bedplate! While the decals are not mint, they are pretty darn close! What little wear they do show, is primarily around the"Singer" logo on the arm.both front and back.where needles were likely pinned at one time. The machine is very clean and shiny with excellent original japanning and lacquer.truly for the advanced collector. Up for sale is a 1920's Singer Portable Sewing Machine Model 66-1"Redeye" Decals/ Wooden Case. The number is G8027260 in the front by the wheel. This is in good condition. It is missing the foot plate. However, does have the light and foot pedal. There are some scrapes on the case. The machine looks very nice and the"Redeye" decals are very bright and beautiful. The case does not latch. The motor and foot pedal wiring appear to have been replaced with newer wiring, however the wiring for the light is old and cracked. Singer 15-86 Sewing Machine RAF Eagle Decals Great Working Condition
Singer 15-86 sewing machine made in 1938 in great working condition. I used to collect and restore vintage sewing machines as a hobby. I picked this one up a few years ago and I am not using it so time to let it go. I fully cleaned it myself- took it apart. Cleaned all parts, polished the paint and chrome, and oiled and greased where needed. I have just put on a new belt, new bobbin winder tire, and new lightbulb, and checked the wiring in the foot pedal. I haven't sewn with it recently but everything is running smoothly. This 15-86 has a solid handwheel. It comes with the original"button" style foot pedal. The bottom plate of the foot pedal is missing one of the four screws that hold it on, but it's not a problem- the foot pedal is fine with just three screws. This machine was used by the previous owner. So it does show ... moresigns of use. There are some scratches on the bed and some paint crazing. However, all of the decals are intact and in wonderful condition, and the paint is still shiny(you can see reflections in it in the photos) so the machine looks great. The decals are what make this a nice item for a collector- this machine has the RAF Eagle pattern that originally came from the Singer plant in Kilbowie, Scotland and was used in the 1930s. It also has a floral pattern on the face plate and round access plate in the back. The machine originally came in a table. And it does need to be in a table or case to be used as the bed doesn't have any feet. The hinges are still in place on the back of the machine that will allow you to put it in a table. A table or case should be easy to come by. I do not have the manual but a copy of it can easily be found as a PDF online.

This is a Vintage Singer 301A Portable Sewing Machine. Serial number NB070965 dates this machine to about 1956. This machine has rare Prism Decals which were used for a couple of years starting around 1955. I offer 10 years experience servicing sewing machines! I also list all"detailed" positives and negatives. So there are no surprises when your machine arrives. I even provide video proof that this machine works! This machine has been serviced and rewired and is 100% functional! Please read the steps that I perform on each machine sold as"Serviced" You don't want to risk buying any"used" machines because there is a risk of exposed electrical wires that can exist in blind spots like in the motor housing or behind the connector. These machines are all-metal construction which means they easily conduct electricity ... moreif a short is present. The insulation on the old wires does not hold up in most cases over long periods of time. They become gummy or brittle. All of the machines I sell get inspected for hazardous risks and the wires replaced if necessary. As with all of my serviced machines the following steps have been taken: Motor brushes are cleaned. Inspected and replaced if necessary commutator contacts cleaned and polished motor wires inspected and if necessary replaced from the ends of the coil to the power connector, shafts lubricated exterior cleaned as best I can 10 minute full load burn in test- ensures motor runs strong and does not emit odors or excessive heat tested on 6 layers of denim, Guaranteed to work. See my Return Policy below. This gear driven machine has been properly cleaned and oiled. The timing was checked and it sews very well. Please see the picture of the stitch. I even took the bobbin case a part and cleaned it so it has smooth thread draw. It was tested on 6 layers of denim, 4 layers of vinyl upholstery and 3 layers of soft leather. Several bobbins, a pair of scissors, a few needles, some thread, and the parts installed on the machine. This machine is for family use. Has an oscillating shuttle, and makes the lock stitch, but it is very heavy duty(industrial grade by todays standard) This is an all-metal internal parts machine capable of sewing heavy fabrics and even leather. Stitch length ranges from 6 to 30 stitches per inch with reverse. 0.6 Amp Motor There is a foot control mounted in a holder inside the cabinet and there is a knee lever also installed which pushes the foot control. So you can use either to run the machine. Condition: Vintage. Fantastic condition. The head is in great shape. I don't see anything wrong with the decals, the nickel plated parts are great, the other finishes look little used, and it sews very nicely. The Sphinx decals are in good condition for its age. They only show wear and slight stencil loss on the back side from where the lid rested on it in the down stored position. As you can see in the photos. The plated metal parts have tarnish, not rust, and they should buff out to look new if new owner so chooses. The foot raises and lowers and the shuttle moves back and forth freely. It feeds fabric through okay. I did not thread it and try to sew a stitch with it ... morebut it should sew okay after a good cleaning and oiling. However. I cannot guarantee that it will sew well. It is beautifully decorated with the very desirable RAF(flying eagle” design. As you can see from the photos, the decals and finish are in outstanding condition. The machine is fully operational and functions very smoothly. The motor works very well and the wiring is all in very good. Very supple condition. It has recently been serviced, which included a thorough cleaning, lubrication and oiling. It comes with all of its parts. Nothing is missing. The bobbin winder assembly is complete and operational. The bobbin assembly mechanism is also complete and in good working order. It comes with a work light. The bulb is present and it works great.
