This auction is for 5 vintage coasters or casters for furniture. 1. The glass one has a lot of wear and it is 3 inches across it is heavy. If you look closely at the picture it shows that it has a blemish on the glass which was when it was made the one side is like"melted" wavy down a groove sort of thing. It is unique with that. 2. This is a porcelain pottery caster/coaster it measures 2 3/4 inches. It is shiny and solid. This auction is for a set of 4 metal furniture casters with black plastic wheels. Possibly bakelite with ball bearings. They all seem to be in good condition with no damage other than scuffing on the wheels from use. There is a diamond mark with a D in the center on one side and the patent no. 9142 on the other side of the casters. Antique set of 4 cast iron furniture casters 1.75" wheels hardware lot
This is a matched set of 4 cast iron furniture casters. The wheels are 1- 3/4" in diameter. The tapered shanks are 2- 3/4" long and just about 1/2" in diameter at the base. These will raise a piece by 2 inches. The casters roll freely. They have some surface rust, and they are not bent or otherwise damaged. A set of 4 unusual style porcelain casters. The porcelain wheel is apr. 1 7/8 inch in diameter and apr. 1 1/4 inch wide. The overall height is apr. 5 inches with the shaft part being 3 inches long. One of the casters has some chips on both side of the wheel by the hub/ axle part which is shown in a close up. The chips do not affect anything. The porcelain does show wear/ staining? where it made contact with the floor. The porcelain will need a good cleaning with the proper cleaner. The pictures should show the rest. The brass has reached a nice verdi gris color patina from years of use. They are in excellent working condition. The wheels roll without effort and easily pivot in a full circle. 4 Antique Vintage 1 3/4" Wheels Casters White Porcelain Furniture Old
These are 4 antique vintage white porcelain casters with cast iron. The caster wheels are about 1 3/4" in diameter and 5/8" wide(one oddball may be about 1/16" wider and larger in diameter than the other three) Three have shafts of 2 11/16" long. That taper down to about 1/4" The other caster has a shaft 3" long, with a 7/16" diameter knob on the end. This shaft also has tapered down to 1/4" just beneath the knob as well. There are several matching pieces, at least enough to make a couple sets of four. The shafts are 1.5"1.75" long, and the wheels are 1 1/4" in diameter. All of the wheels are solid, and turn freely.
