Vintage Porcelain Insulators Lot Of 2! Brown Glazed.Railroad.Antique Electrical
You get both of these great old porcelain insulators in this lot. Very nice condition. The large one weighs almost 3 pounds! It has a little bit of tar on the top that would be easily removed with some solvent. The large one has a screw center hole for a wooden mount. The smaller one is smooth and looks unused. There is no reaction from a magnet as there is with the usual steel ones. The brass is some 2 ½ mm thick. They measure 100 x 60 mm. weigh 308 grms. They have been painted on one side dark“mission brown” but, as they come from the UK, I think this was probably to match Victorian Gothic dark oak, not jarrah. Antique Agate Door Knob/Pull. Awesome
This Antique Door Knob or Drawer Knob is something I have had for many years and originally was something I found in my dad's garage after he passed away many years ago. Along with some of the items I have listed today, the long screw which measures approx 1.5" long has slight surface rust, the agate knob(not sure if called just agate or marble agate) measures approx 4" in diameter and height from top of knob to bottom of screw is approx 3" long.
