Stutz Blackhawk, Hudson, + More Approximate Size: Width 15" I did not unroll this to measure the length because I didn't want to risk wrinkling it. Please refer to the first picture. You can see that there are yards and yards this paper(I extended the inside of the roll. Lower left of first photo) Description: This may be the oddest thing I have ever listed on ebay. I'm not sure what this fabulous paper is intended for. I listed it under gift wrap. But it seems too wonderful to be used in that way and then thrown away. When unrolled, it is a series of pictures of old cars- two different pictures that repeat. I have photographed each one. The artwork is really phenomenal and the pictures are actually embossed, giving them a 3-D look. Each picture has a description ... moreacross the bottom of the picture, written in embossed gold. The picture with the blue cars and airplane reads: AUTOS OF THE PAST- 1920-1930- 1928 PACKARD, 1928 STUTZ BLACKHAWK, 1929 HUDSON, 1925 FRANKLIN. The other picture reads: AUTOS OF THE PAST- 1910-1920- 1911 MAXWELL, 1916 CHEVROLET, 1913 BUICK, 1917 PIERCE ARROW. I should think they would be great framed and hanging on the wall. All are very interesting, and are of people, cars, buildings, landscapes etc. The pictures are all black, and white, and look to be from around the 1920s or so. The album is 7" X 10" and the pictures are 2 1/2" X 3 1/2" to 3" X 5" in size. Just a few are around 1 1/2" square. They are unmarked, and most are glued into the album. I see a sign that reads Alder Springs in one picture, and the boat in the one is named Roamer. Being offered in as found condition. A very interesting group. Add them to your collection, or display! 1920s LaHarpe Illinois Antique Old Photo Album SWEENEY Family Cars Children Men
Great old photo album originating from LaHarpe. Hancock County, Illinois in the 1920s. The original owner of this album was a woman named Clarice E. Bughman who was born about 1904. She must have been an orphan because there is no record of her parents that I could find. She grew up with her aunt and uncle, Joseph Franklin Sweeney(1870-1946) and Lulu Belle Sweeney(1870-1932) in LaHarpe who had no children of their own. I am guessing that Clarice’s father or mother was a sibling to Joseph Franklin Sweeney s there were some other Sweeney people in this album. All of the pictures are mounted with corner brackets and most all have captions but they do not provide names or much information. The only other names are: Dorothy S. Sweeney? This is an antique paper packet of sewing needles with fantastic graphics of cars. Prize Medal Neede Case that even depicts a car race on one side. The little packets of needles bear the following numbers: Imperial Best No. 5/10. 3/9, 6, 5, and 7. All are labeled elliptic improved silver eyed cast steel sharps Germany. Most of the packets have at least several needles in them- the one mounted at the top only has a few in it. I am not sure if they are all original or if they are in their appropriate packages(I, unfortunately, am not a sewing expert) There is a large crease to the paper package itself and a crease to the top, on the side of the car race. Antique / vintage Super Seventy 70 Oil can for tether cars & airplanes
This auction is for an antique/ vintage Super Seventy 70 Oil can. This is for tether car and plane engines. It’s a 1 pint can with a great Super Seventy graphic. I’m not really selling it for the oil. Yet it is about 1/3 full. I don’t have a feel for this stuff. But it seems a little thick and of a darker amber color. I have no idea if the oil is any good. It’s produced by Sportco Products. It came with other tether car stuff from the 40’s. I believe. What’s weird about this can is you also see another marking on it.
