It measures approx. 30.5cms(12" long by 8cms(3" wide at its widest point. It was made to adorn a piece of furniture. It has three pre made holes for fixing this mount in place. Antique Gilt Ormolu Fournier Armoire Decorative Mounting Piece. This came from an antique French Armoir. It was the top decoration of the armoire. It is cast in the piece on the back"Fournier" as well as the numbers 1198. Measures 15" long with the widest part measuring 5" It appears to have lost the left side of the decoration. But this was done a very long time ago as the patina matches the front of it. Nice patina. Gilt over bronze casting. Nice piece. Sells as is without reserve.

A few spots where the finish is worn and I see a couple of stems where something has been removed or broken through the years. Not really noticed since the piece is so tall and full of details. The marble is a malachite green with fossilized pieces in the graining. The piece is in excellent condition for its early 19th century age. But it does have some tiny losses in a few top spots at the base and the top. We mention for accuracy as nothing is really seen. Brass accents adorn the mirror supports with brass acorn knobs securing the oval mirror to the supports. The original white& grey marble is inserted into the vanity top. A storage drawers below with a gorgeous angel type ormolu key escutcheon. The lock is present in the drawer but we do not have the key. Measuring 7 inches in width. 6 inches in depth and 4 inches in height, this lovely antique porcelain dresser box was made in Europe- probably France or Germany- after the Sevres porcelain boxes that were so popular in the 19th Century. There are no chips, cracks or repairs- the only mark on the base is D22(possibly D28) on the base as shown in the photographs below. Please note that I only ship to the United States. The jar is a deep green satin glass. With dark rose, mauve Poppy flowers. The outlined leaves are raised enamel, as are the flowers themselves. The bottom of the jar is clear green, not frosted. So I am not sure if the satin finish is applied? The jar sits on 3 fancy baroque style cast feet. All the metal on the jar has a dark, aged patina. The jar may need a little cleaning, will leave that to new owner. It measures over 4.5" across the widest part and just under 4" tall. This will box between 1-2 pounds. This great quality inkstand measures 220mm(8.5' x 170mm(6.5' x 80mm(3' high and weighs 550 grams. The base is made from a gilded bronze or ormolu and has the founders stamp to the underside which as far as I can make out reads" E.D. Vandenhove& Fils Bruxelles" the ceramic inkwell bears a Chantilly French Horn mark but this was used by lots of different factories. It dates to the late 1800's but I am sure with a little research it may be possible to find the exact date and is in good condition with no damage or repairs. Gothic Aesthetic Gilded Ormolu Lidded Font Christofle Pugin Christopher Dresser
This is a very interesting and superb quality heavy gilt brass travelling font with Islamic engraved decoration. Very much in the style of Christopher Dresser. I do not know who or where this piece was made but it is definately over 100 years old and extremely good quality. The goats feet/ legs and applied roundels to the body are all silver plated. This is unmarked but is a very decorative item. It measures 23cm tall and 13cm in diameter.
