Vintage Morse G-3 Bakelite 35mm 16mm 8mm Super8 Film Darkroom Developer Tank
A vintage Morse G-3 Processing Tank. This one does 100ft or 30m of film: 35mm. 16mm, 8mm/ Super 8mm. I have used it for processing Super 8 and 16mm motion picture film but I have not used it for 35mm as I had spiral reels for that. It has the window for doing re-exposure of reversal film. The reels adjust easily between the three sizes. The rubber stopper and the rubber feet are in great shape. The tank and lid are made of bakelite. It is in really nice condition, fully functional and ready to use. Pretty straight forward, but instructions can readily be found online. I haven't seen very many that could do 8mm- most seem to be for 16 or 35. Of course, you could do 8mm/S8mm in a tank that does 16mm, but you would need twice as much chemistry to be sure the film was submerged as the film would'ride up' on the reels. Why buy a Soviet tank that you'll have to wait a month to get and unless you get the super rare 100ft capacity model, you'll have to cut your roll into 50ft halves to process. As you can see it has had some good use! Up for auction is this vintage(antique? My Buddy TACKLEMASTER Steel Tackle Storage Box. It has a really pretty blue finish(yes I'm a girl) and the original My Buddy TACKLEMASTER with a picture of a fish. Still on the lid-in AMAZING CONDITION(the sticker) The handle is in EXCELLENT condition, looks like BAKELITE to me but I am not positive? Handle is attached with brass facets& they are solid and secure. It has some slight rust patches on the outside, and inside, see the pictures.The bottom also has rust along the perimeter of the raised base, no rust(holes) goes through the steel. The bottom also has rubber disks to raise it up, one is completely worn off, two others are somewhat worn. 3 others are somewhat worn but intact. these could easily be replaced I think as they appear to be just simple ... morerubber disks.When the lid is open, two compartmented shelves on each side also open simultaneously and there is more storage in the bottom.The shelf hinges are in very good working condition, secure. THERE IS A WORKING LOCK AND A KEY! The previous owners name is taped on the inside lid but can be removed, as it is that type on kind of tape. All the hinges, lid, closures, etc are in very good working condition, solid& stable. I don't see any dents at all. vintage New Haven wind-up alarm clock. Working clock but the alarm spring is bad so the alarm doesn't wind. The main spring for the clock part works fine. Sometimes it runs all day. Sometimes it'll stop and you have to give it a shake to get it goig and it'll run some more, may need work. The Bakelite stand looks good no breaks but there are cracks and a piece missing at the top right of the main clock case where it swivels on the 2-post stand. Still is sturdy and swivels fine. Tightens too. the convex plastic lens is good. And the dial face looks great. All the winder keys and setting knobs are there. Nice accent. The top glass perc top is slightly broken where it goes into the top. But it still does not affect the usage or the look, but I felt that I should mention it. The size: 14 inches to the top of the handle and 9 inches diameter ball and 11 inches to the top of the ball. In my opinion. It is a magnificent piece of history and it still looks good today. 1950's Mid Century combination Thermometer Barometer. It is marked Taylor. It is made of brown bakelite. Unused NOS Original Vintage 1.5" RCA/ Viz Bakelite Knob. Unused. Some light scratches from storage and aging but very good condition overall. These well known knobs were used by RCA and other manufacturers on many broadcast and recording products in the 50's. 60's, and 70's. The knobs accept a standard 1/4" diameter shaft, either round or"split" type. The knob is fastened with 2 small set screws. Limited quantity available. 1930's RADIO STATION TELEPHONE GPO 300 SERIES ART DECO BAKELITE ROTARY DIAL 332
Welcome to Tellingbones. The home of quality hand restored vintage telephony. This listing is for a 1930's vintage traditional rotary dial& bell GPO 332 telephone in black bakelite. Originally used in a radio station it has now been converted to work on any phone line that supports pulse dialling. Please scroll down the page for my notes on compatibility. Click the pic to visit the image gallery. It is of course in perfect working order with a lovely sweet-sounding twin bell ringer& the speech& audio work as they should albeit with a vintage feel. The dial is a steel No.12 with an enamelled copper alpha/numeric backplate. It has some fading to the numbers but is lovely& smooth with a good return. I can provide a reproduction label printed with your own number(or message) FOC. Free custom printed paper label. Please message ... moreme at checkout with your details otherwise a blank will be used. The handset is a 1930's No.164 whilst the base is marked 332CB FWR/2. It is in reasonable condition for it`s age. But as you can see from the pictures it has a few chips& dings. There is a tiny chip to the right edge of the false drawer blanking plate, a couple of small chips from the mouthpiece cap, one from the earpiece cap& the back end of the cradle has had a repair. This actually sounds much worse than it looks since they don't draw the eye.In fact they actually add to the character of the piece IMO, but please study all the pics carefully& make up your own mind on it's condition. Other than that there's just a few tiny fleabites to show from around 80 years of use. The handset cord is in excellent condition with the odd stain but no fraying or exposed wires whilst all four rubber feet are still in good condition. The red"On Air" lamp cover is still present as are the on/off switch& socket. They have been disconnected so right now have aesthetic appeal only. Although I suspect the rewire would be a fairly straightforward affair. A 99p start with no reserve for this
