I belive these are called phoropter thats my best guess from the research I have done. I dont really know much about these so i will do my best to describe them. The 1st piece pictured has a long flat metal rod connected to it. Has no lenses but I don't think it is suposed to. Appers to missing one small screw on top and one silver turning screw on back. Very cool looking peice. Next peice has 5 lenses 1 is all green 1 is all red 2 normal lenses and one that is kinda blacked out not sure if its suposed to be like that. All 5 lenses spin on the rod. Pretty sure a little pice of the plastic at end has broke off but it still holds the lenses on fine. Metal rod unscrews in the middle has some scrtches on the rod. Beautiful antique syringe with incredible detail. Comes with the case which you can see the condition of in the pictures. The snap and latch on the case still works. The plunger on the syringe has no real suction to it, I would assume the stopper(cork? had disintegrated over the years. Still an incredible looking piece though. Fraser's Tablet Triturate kit with hypodermic. 4 glass vials, and leather case, made by The Fraser Tablet Triturate Manufacturing Co. I believe that this company was incorporated in 1888 and the name was used until 1901. The two interior vials are empty. The vial to the right of the hypodermic contains perhaps 4 tablets. The one on the extreme left seems full. I did not remove the vials from the case or open them. The leather case is in good condition. The end flaps are still securely attached. i found this is my loft. This unique Quack Medical Device is in great condition. It was patented May 17. 1904. The Davis Electric Company Sole Manufacturers Parkersburg, WV. It is number 9161. I believe it was used as some sort of voltage machine. Like an ancient electrical stimulating machine with several places to hook electrodes. It has foot plate hook up on the side. Some of the box paper has come off on the bulb. Should be easy to clean up. Corks appear original and are intact. Rubber is showing signs of age. But not wear. Cool little collectible.

There are no markings that found other than the manufacturer“SKLAR” on the handle of the syringe. I think SKLAR is a US Company. It is in a polished stainless steel case measuring almost 9” X 3 ½” X 1 ½” The hook latch in front is intact. Both the top and bottom have removable trays. This one looks awesome with great Art Deco lines and a green glass panel that must look awesome when lit up and makes this one much more desireable for display purposes as this is one of the earliest examples. This is an authentic doctor's house visit bag owned by a small town physician from Masontown in southwestern Pennsylvania near Uniontown and was inherited. It is quite a nice antique piece of medical equipment and we exactly where it is from. It's marking on the bottom is quite legible. Inside an oval is'PANDORA BAG CO. CURTIS BLDG. DETROIT MICH' below the oval is'PAT. APPLD FOR' Its condition is sound and fully functional. The age I estimate from the early 1900's. Maybe 1930's or so. There is some wear to the leather from use and age but is it all there. The leather handle was constructed with metal reinforcing around the metal rings and is as strong as when new. Double top opening doors open properly with sliding metal devices that stop the doors at a 90 degree angle. One side has one compartment inside and ... morethe other side has 2 compartments, one of which has the original rubber padding for delicate items. I will include one original ground glass bottle top in this padded compartment. Dimensions are 17 1/4 inches long. 6 1/2 inches wide and 10 1/2 inches tall. The latch is marked'CORBIN' in an oval and'MADE IN USA' below. The latch is operable and latches properly. It in unlatched with the sliding button. It does not snap open. It is easily opened with another finger. There is a keyhole but no key. It weighs a little over 5 pounds.

Antique medical surgical arterial bleeding tourniquet Davis Equipment Company
1950s-era extremity tourniquet used in industrial first aid kits of that time. Maker was a known WWII supplier to the US Armed Forces of this same item in older-style packaging as can be easily seen on Google Images. Pristine condition. Appears never to have been used though there is a small stain on the label. Likely from manufacturing. Original cellophane wrapper and cardboard box supplied as shown. This is Davis unit No. 108-AR, the same number that this seller has seen in different packaging by Davis, so this may be a subtype. Spring release on tourniquet buckle. Note the embossed anchor on the metal buckle, raising the possibility that a contractor actually made the tourniquet, or at least the buckle, for Davis. Would make a neat display among other vintage medical and surgical items, with the sewn-on instruction label being a nice conversation ... morestarter. There is a least one collector of different WWII tourniquets that maintains a website showing the varieties available. Packaging says the length is 36" and width of web belting is 3/4" Some Davis types with this model number appear not to have the felt pad under the buckle, which this one does have, though it is not pictured on the instructive package drawings. For sale is an essential part of a surgical machine in the 1900s to 1920s. There is a 32 oz. ether bottle with the tubing and gauges attached for administration of the ether. The short tube from the top of the bottle is 6" The long tube to the next gauge is 59" This is the Suction Gauge. The knob on the side is labeled for increasing suction. The suction bottle is also 32 oz. Neither of the bottles are chipped. Cracked or other wise damaged. The"Ether" and"Suction" labels are clearly marked. All of the objects were made by the J. Skylar Mfg. Co. in Long Island. NY. The set overall needs a good washing. The small tube at the top of the either bottle is split at one end and has an open slit at the other. We are not experts. Antique Cased Haemometer Medical Hemoglobin Field Test Equipment
Antique Haemometer field set made by HK of New York. This antique medical kit was used to test the hemoglobin levels in blood when a lab was not available. The wooden hinged case measures 6 1/4" x 3 3/4" x 2 and the clasps. I believe are brass. The interior is lined with blue velvet and there are several pieces of medical equipment within. Please check out the photos, they tell more about this than I know as to completeness. One tube has a broken tip. The box is in fair condition, solid enough and with the original hardware but there is wear on the faux leatherette covering.

The time frame for anything made by GE Xray Victor was very short because GE bought out Victor in a few years after merging with them so this is one of those RARE transitional pieces. and probably the only one you will ever see. This has great display Art Deco appeal because of the green glass strip down the middle of the top if you would light that up it would be awesome in any collection.

This bag measures approximately 20" x 14" x 10" It is a deep brown colored real leather with matching leather handle and reinforced corners. There are brass feet at the bottom and three brass latches on the top with a leather handle. The bag is all leather inside and has a snap closure large pocket with leather and brass decorative snap on one side and two large open pockets on the other side. The bag is very old and shows its age. Antique medical equipment find at an estate of a rural NY medical doctor's office, who practiced in the 30's 40's and 50's. I believe this is a mountable sanitary cloth head rest assembly, in which the doctor could scroll to a clean spot on the cloth before the next patient hit the examination table. It has a typewriter mechanism which coggins it way through the entire length of cloth. Then, when finished, I imagine he would remove the cloth and toss it into the washer. Yep, about as sanitary as things came back in those days, but if you're into antique medical equipment. wow, what a period piece of Americana! Both sides of the heavy metal mountable pieces look perfect, just some age wear. ... moreThe cloth is that green military canvas kind of material. maybe even a little on the softer side.
