This chair does not have a label but the fabric is identical to the Karpen chair which came with the other one which I am selling in a separate listing. Comes with the original red fabric which I read was an unusual color and hard to find. Also. This chair includes a hard to find accessory toss pillow. In searching the internet I could not find any pictures of any Karpen chair with a matching pillow. The fabrics on the chair and pillow match exactly. Walnut tapered legs with the front legs showing a wooden bridge connector. Measures approximately 37" high by 28" deep by 35" wide. PLEASE NOTE THAT IN A SEPARATE AUCTION I AM SELLING A MATCHING KARPEN HORN CHAIR. and end with a- Good condition. Please look closely at the two front corners and note that there is some light fabric loss. These corners could be repaired by a professional. This was bought overseas, and like most items from Europe, it is not signed: no label. But, it is Knoll; the weight and concrete like fill in, in the bottom, are signs of authenticity. It weighs over 36 Lbs. It has, as you can see, yellowing from the years, on the upper part of the stem, as well as yellowing underneath, along with slight cracking/crazing on the surface and fingerprints, shown in pics 7& 8. The base is 16 3/4" in diameter. This will ship freight or Greyhound Express. The cost for freight will probably be cheaper and safer than having it packed professionally and shipped GE. I have used shippers such as Plycon and TSC and 7 day shipment auction to get the best cost for my buyers. Feel free to ask me for an approximate shipping quote. I think this could get up the East Coast for $100 or so. Out west. Maybe slightly higher. Seat at 15 1/2" DESCRIPTION Nice Danish Modern lounge chair. Designed by Ib Kofod Larsen for Selig. Walnut. This comes apart for ease of shipping. The previous owner reinforced the chair with three, unseen underside screws for added stability. These Selig chairs' parts were designed to slide and snap into place and shouldn't require the extra screws, however. Up to the winning bidder whether or not to use them. CONDITION Overall excellent condition with very light finish wear. There are a couple scuffs to legs and the underside front support cross bar has some nicks to finish which are unseen in place(see photos) This would have originally had pirelli or fagas rubber straps with metal clips for the seat suspension. Presumably. These dried out with age and someone tacked in rubber strap suspension without clips. There is some splitting to the seat frame where the straps were tacked in(see photos) Replacement fagas straps are available online if one wanted to restore, though the current straps are functioning just fine.
