The chair is dated 1980(please see picture 2) I believe the frame is brass plated steel. The frame has several areas or rust. Mostly on the bottom. The rust seems to be mostly on the surface. The frame otherwise has normal vintage scuffing and wear. One of the fabric covered arm rests is missing. There are several holes in the front and back of the fabric of the back rest(please see pictures) The foam and padding is comfortable and seems to be in good condition and has no bad odor. The chair is sold for restoration or parts. It is sold as is. The chair is about 30 3/4 inches tall at the back. This antique pocket microscope is contained within its original leather-covered fitted case. The microscope is mostly constructed from laquered brass and is engraved'John Browning London 401' The case is original and is stamped on the silk lining inside the lid with the maker's crest and address. There are also two glass slides present in the box. We believe the microscope to date from c.1875. Condition: The microscope is in need of some repair. The reflecting mirror is broken and requires replacement. The fixing for the reflecting mirror is also broken. And the reflecting mirror is detached. This has been repaired with solder in the past, and there are the ... moreremains of the solder on both the mirror and on the microscope itself. This repair is also broken. The lacquer has come off in places and there is some surface pitting and corrosion to the brasswork. The lenses are dirty, and the whole microscope would benefit from being cleaned and polished. The extension mechanisms do work, but are stiff. The case is grubby and quite badly scuffed and the silk lining inside the lid has some holing and fraying. The case catch is broken, and the release button is missing. The top catch has broken off with some wood loss, but the catch itself is present loose in the box. Please refer to photographs below. I'd date it to between about 1820 and 1840- probably originall was fitted for instruments of some sort or artists materials- there is a scrap of a trade label pasted inside the lid. It has a good brass carrying handle, hinges and lock but no key. The box is of dovetailed construction, in solid mahogany, with a pine base. It is in poor condition, though quite solid and can be used as it is- I'd be tempted just to give it a coat of beeswax to bring up a shine and leave it well alone- it bears the scars of 200 years use, after all. But very well worth restoring if you are so inclined. Nice Antique French Brass Carriage Clock in Case R & C Paris (Restoration) c1880
This nice antique carriage clock was manufactured by R& C of Paris. France. The brass clock measures 4-3/8" tall(not including the handle) x 3-1/4" wide x 2-1/2" deep. The brass casing is in good undamaged condition and none of the beveled glass panels are damaged. The main winding port just spins around with no resistance(unable to wind) The smaller winding port does not turn. The hand changing port works fine. The face appears to be enamel with Roman numerals. The seconds finger is missing. It comes with its original key and wooden case(the case is a little beaten) Certainly worth restoration and most definitely needs a good clean. The underside has a round bell like dome. KOMA" MANTEL CLOCK With key 7" wide/ 11" tall/ 5" deep Made in Germany All the mechanism appears to be there. But this clock doesn't go at present- it probably needs a good clean& service. One of the nicest things about it is the glass in the case; it is bevelled and etched and is all there and undamaged. The metal of the case and also the dial are a bit marked and discoloured.

Diameter of bell is 4-5/8" Length of trumpet from mouthpiece to bell is 21-1/4" Reddish tinge. Not sure if there's copper also. Possibly mother of pearl buttons. Edison Black + Brass 14" Witch Hat Cylinder Phonograph Horn for Restoration
For your consideration is an Edison/ Columbia Black and Brass 14 inch Witch Hat horn for cylinder phonographs. This horn unfortunately looks like it sat in water for period of time. Causing severe oxidation to part of the black japanned steel body of the horn and oxidation to one side of the brass bell. The bell, however, is practically dent free, as is the body of the horn, not considering the area that has rusted through. Overall this a great horn for a restoration project considering nice shape of the bell and general condition of the black body. Please refer to the photographs for more details regarding condition. Kendall & Co 17 Rue De La Paix Paris Brass Alarm Clock for Parts Restoration
Being offered here is a vintage brass alarm clock. The face is marked“Kendall& Co” 17 Rue De La Paix” Paris” On the backside of the works there is the letter“S” at the top and the number“991” near the bottom left. The inside of the case also has a number“991” We could not see any chips. Cracks, or dents. However, there is wear to the finish and it needs to be cleaned. The back plate is missing as well as the two bolts that hold the clock in the case. It does run but needs adjusting as it loses time after several hours. The alarm also works. Notice that the numbers are positioned differently than most clocks. Measuring to the tip of the elephant’s trunk the case stands about 4” tall. It is 1 7/8” wide and 1 5/8” deep. The glass bezel measures approximately 1 5/8” in diameter.
