Vintage OLD Mandolin for restoration BRASS TUNERS inlaid rosewood PROJECT
Up for bid is a very old mandolin for restoration with it's original case. The instrument has brass tuners.In good shape, an inlaid rosewood pick guard, and inlaid purfling around the top of the body. The top of the body has cracked and caved in from being stored for many years with tension on the strings, there is no other damage, cracks or repair. The internal cross ribs are intact. I can find no makers mark on the mandolin. The original case is marked CEW. The guitar shaped body and oblong sound hole is unusual for a mandolin. It measures 23 inches long. This is a nice quality old instrument well worth restoring. please take a close look at the photos. It will be well packed for shipping. no reserve. thanks for looking

Antique signed H&H French Brass Carriage Clock for Parts or Restoration
Here is an antique. Likely, turn of the century, carriage clock made by H&H in France. I am quite certain the case is solid brass. It is marked on the back'Made in France' and'H&H' which I believe stands for Harris& Harrington. There are also some markings on the bottom of the clock. I can see a C.H stamped on the bottom. I can also see numbers 110 stamped on the bottom. There also is an etching looks like 98/5 or 9815 and then 4842 under that. The clock measures about 4 1/2" in height, a little over 3" wide, and about 2 1/2" deep. As can be seen in the pictures, there is damage to the clock face and the front glass piece has a chip in the upper corner. Two pieces of glass are missing(one side and the back) I have seen that these clocks are quite expensive when in good shape so would hope that someone ... morewho repairs/restores these clocks would love to own this. You are looking at a vintage brass or bronze fairly heavy tall table lamp adorned with a seated winged lion on all four sides. This item needs restoration as it's missing a light socket cap and pull chain. For that reason. I have not attempted to test the other socket. I found it in an old garage at an estate sale recently. It stands about 27" tall with a 4 5/8" square base. The top part comes apart in at least two pieces(see photos) and will be shipped disconnected so it will fit in a smaller box. Barber chair foot pump, steampunk part, chrome and brass restoration piece
This is a piece I found in my Dads basement. He was a collector of anything unique. Good quality, mechanical etc. This appears to be the foot pump from a barber shop, or dental office chair. It weighs 4-5 lbs. I would say it is chromed or nickel plated. There are many surface scratches in the finish. The plunger button is brass and does push up and down with strong pressure.Any questions I will try to answer. Antique Oil Lamp Base & Shade, GWTW Hand Painted, Cast Brass, Restoration, Parts
A ntique oil or kerosene lamp base and shade are hand painted in Gone With the Wind style. Both pieces are milk glass with maroon and pink flowers with white and blue with beading. Each is painted on both sides. The base is more teal than. The shade more blue and shade has a yellow band on the bottom rim. The base is cast bronze or brass with an ornate design and a screw in opening. There is no burner or chimney. It has not been electrified and there are no cracks. There is chipping on both rims of the shade only. There is discoloration around the area where there is paint loss. Possibly from spilled oil. Still good condition for it's age, which dates to the late 1800's to early 1900's and being sold as found, could be a fun restoration project. This is heavy and large. Vintage 1913 era Conn Brass Trombone Needs restoration Case by Frank Holton Co
This old Conn Trombone was acquired at an estate sale on Old New Orleans"The Home Of Jazz" not sure of its original origin but Believe it was purchased from Frank Holton& Company Chicago Il. According to the serial number"13289" it was believed to have been made between 1913-1914. It need complete restoration as it has several dents. a hole in the main slide and the spring on the water key and maybe more. The case"Frank Holton& Company Chicago Il.see Below*is in terrible condition and is falling apart. The bell does have"Made by C.G. Conn Ltd Inc. I am not sure what model it is it does have a"M" over the serial number"13289" and a stamping that looks to be a union label. Holton opened a small shop at the corner of Clark and Madison streets in Chicago and began selling second hand musical ... moreinstruments along with his popular trombone slide oil. Frank worked nights as a trombonist in one of the many Chicago theaters while his wife gave music lessons to help pay the bills. Frank’s musical instrument business began to grow. Slowly at first, but steadily. Before long, Holton hired a repairman and began to offer instrument repair services to the local musicians. Holton soon started designing and manufacturing his own brass and percussion instruments, including several models of his famous trombones and cornets. He expanded his business to a larger space in 1900, and in 1904 incorporated his operation as Frank Holton& Company, then built a new three story factory building on the west side of Chicago. By 1918. Holton’s operation had outgrown its Chicago location, so he expanded again and moved his entire operation to the small town of Elkhorn, Wisconsin. As business grew, so did the city of Elkhorn, thanks for the most part to Holton and his company. By the 1920s, Frank Holton& Company was employing hundreds of factory workers and thousands of sales agents from coast to coast, while doing the largest amount of business in its history.
