Both pieces have been refinished, but missing veneer work was not done, so, as you can see in pics 4& 8 there is slight edge veneer loss at the front side corners. In pic 5 you can barely see that the veneer has been re-glued. There are a few nicks here and there, and there are hardware circles around a couple of the drawer pulls, where the handles have been rotated and made a circle in the wood around. The hardware, as well as the design, makes this piece much more eye catching, with steel pulls and horizontal rosewood tips on each pull. This piece measures 54" x 32" x 18" deep. It weighs over 36 Lbs. It has, as you can see, yellowing from the years, on the upper part of the stem, as well as yellowing underneath, along with slight cracking/crazing on the surface and fingerprints, shown in pics 7& 8. The base is 16 3/4" in diameter. This will ship freight or Greyhound Express. The cost for freight will probably be cheaper and safer than having it packed professionally and shipped GE. I have used shippers such as Plycon and TSC and 7 day shipment auction to get the best cost for my buyers. Feel free to ask me for an approximate shipping quote. I think this could get up the East Coast for $100 or so. Out west. Maybe slightly higher. I prefer freight because I have had UPS damage a couple of high end chairs lately and have found freight to be much more affordable and safer, if you can wait a little longer.
