Solid Slab Knotty Pine Wood Table Modern Look 3 Legs - 31" L 15" H - VERY COOL
This is a very cool solid wood slab table. Appears to be knotty pine wood but not sure. Because of the odd shape. I will give you different measurements. The length at the longest part is 31" The width at the widest part if 15" The height is 15" and the thickness of the slab is 2" The lines of the table suggest it may be mid-century since it has the moden look. There is a crack on the one end at the knot as I have shown in the pictures. The crack does go through to the bottom. But the table is still sturdy. The crack could have been there originally. There are three legs, offset on the bottom. The one leg needs the screw tightened but the table sits nicely and does not wobble. I placed a vase on the table(photo 6) to try to give an idea of the size. I imagine this piece could be used as a stool but I would not recommend ... moreit. I would use it as a table. This is an incredible find! This is an all original antique knotty pine paneled room from the upper East side of Manhattan. The wood is in excellent condition and has beautiful contoured and carved details while it remains simple in design. The overall dimensions of the room are 22 ft. L x 9 ft. D. The height is 117.5 in. H. There is also an additional foyer at each end which is approx. 4 ft. x 5 ft. and 5 ft. x 7 ft. both of these have a beautiful set of double doors and the larger one has two additional single doors. This is over 600 sq. ft. of panelling including the doors and book shelves. A mirrored panel and a mantel. There are NO windows in this room so you are getting your square feet worth in wood! Vintage Slingerland Cocktail Drum Knotty Pine Lacquer
This is a vintage Slingerland Cocktail drum 14 inches round by 20 inches. The finish is Knotty Pine Lacquer which was only offered from 1955 to 1957. It's the same finish that Gene Krupa asked for on a kit to match his club basement. Has a top nickel 8 lug hoop with a used Remo head. No bottom head or hoop.Nickel hardware. All the legs appear to be original and correct based on the reference material that I have. It has what appears to be its original muffler and snare assembly. The snare wires are mostly gone. There is a cymbal bracket that someone added to the drum. The lacquer is cracked at the point where the bracket is installed. The drum has nicks in the lacquer around the outside and at the base. Interior is clean and the finish shines. Look at all the pictures. Ask questions before you bid.As all sales are final, no returns. I've ... moredone my best to describe this drum. It has a nice amount of natural wood oxidation/patina. its unsanded unfinished body and it has pencil marks, nicks, dings and chip out and needs some of the holes drilled. the neck pocket is routed a 1/16" deeper to accommodate newer import necks and bridges that would most likely be used. I have linked the the pickup and control routs so you will need to brake out the power drill for the bridge and do finish sanding. I don't drill any holes for bridge etc. In my guitar bodies after they have been listed. I have done my best to describe this item as best as i can if you need any more info please ask.
