Presenting one of the most exquisite pieces of vintage small furniture I've seen in a while: an oval cream white painted wood marble top vanity or boudoir side table with reticulated or pierced brass filigree rim in the Hollywood Regency style. Stamped on the bottom"Danby" This little table measures about 18 inches high to the top of the brass rim, 15 1/4 inches wide across the rim and 12 1/2 inches front to back across the rim. It has sleek, classic Federal style legs and a gray veined white marble top, with the brass rim surrounding the marble and rising about 3/4 of an inch from the top, creating a tray-like surface perfect for vanity items like combs, hand mirrors and brushes, perfume bottles, powder jars, compacts, make-up, etc. It makes a perfect little table at the side of a bed, fainting couch, vanity or vanity ... morebench. Vintage vanity dresser mirror top 24 1/2" tall x 22 1/2" wide x 9" deep. Beautiful brown wood with a drawer and carved wood in each front corner. The mirror is marked with letters that looks like union MI 1943. Hard to see in photos. Also mirror is somewhat foggy due to age.
