This chest measures 48 inches wide by 18 inches deep by 17 inches high. When opened. You are greeted with the fresh scent of natural cedar as a shelf rises up and away for easy access to the chest below. Based on the serial number. The manufacture date was April 21, 1954. I received the chest in the early-to-mid 70s and had it professionally refinished with a walnut stain in 1979. Some of the grain is slightly raised on the front(as seen in the picture) Several pictures were taken under different lighting conditions. There are a few very minor scratches. But overall it is in very good condition. IMPORTANT: As per the requirements of the Consumer Products Safety Commission. Its 7 1/4 in deep, 52.55 in tall, and 21.5 in wide! The color is a blue green. Like a duck egg blue. It's beautiful, one of a kind. Very unique. The drawers are different sizes given the triangular shape. Also note, given it's age, this is really for decor only, and not meant to store anything.
