The dressers are in very good to excellent. Original condition. The legs are the more desirable turned legs with the original brackets underneath the cabinet. There are no repairs to the wood and overall structurally the dressers are in very nice condition with minimal wear, minor if any scratches and no stains. The dressers are maple with a medium original stain and the drawers have the cone pulls. The drawers work effortlessly. Original marble and mirror and the original early wood ring drawer pulls that are attached with wooden screws and blocks, and the original casters intact on the base. This high quality dresser has early dove-tailed construction on the dresser base top up under the marble and also on the drawer ends; and an old label with an original owners name handwritten with Chicora, SC written below on the base up under the marble. This dresser has a grand, majestic presence with incredible carvings and details; and amazingly left in its original state.you can almost feel the history in this piece when you touch it.incredible! This grand 19th century dresser measures 89 1/2 inches tall to the top of the fancy carved crest on the mirror.
