Given the fact that the drawers are dovetail construction this leads me to believe that it is an art deco age antique. It is also a heavy piece and not from Marlos furniture store and you can see that the construction is sturdy and well-crafted. Again we are not certain but it appears to be cherrywood or possibly walnut but we are not certain. When and if we determine new information we will post it. This used to be Emily's. Can you believe how fast they grow up, she used to be such a nice little girl. Anyway, she found it at a yard sale out here in the backwoods of western Maine, so we really have no idea how old it is, except it has that mid-century modern look, doesn't it, with all that brass and glass. Actually, none of it is real brass, the magnet sticks to all the metal pieces, so it must be steel with a brass wash that has typical pitting and surface wear from either age or cheap manufacture. The plastic flowers were Emily's idea, they're easily removable if you don't like them, but they add a bit of color. So let's give you some measurements. First. From the floor to the top of the mirror is about 46½" The distance from the floor to the glass table top is about 28" which leaves you about ... more23" of knee space under the lower glass shelf. Vintage, Mid Century, French Provincial Dixie Gray painted Vanity Desk w/ Mirror
LOCAL PICKUP ONLY-This restored Vanity/Desk is made out of wood and has been beautifully restored from it's original cream and gold finish to a gray painted finish with white glazed/painted highlights. see pictures) This piece has dove-tailed drawers that are made out of solid wood and they all work properly. This classic piece has silver painted hardware. This charming piece was made in the USA by Dixie, a fine furniture manufacturer. The condition of this piece is sturdy with a minor dent on the laminated top(see pictures) There are also some minor aging imperfections on the mirror glass. Vintage Handmade Vanity Bureau w/ 7 Mirror Panes Blonde Wood
We found this beautiful piece about two years ago and thought our daughter would love it but of course she didn't so we are parting with it. When we purchased this at an auction we were told that it was handmade locally(Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia) by a furniture maker that has since passed away so we cannot verify for sure who made it. There are no markings on it to make it seem like a production line piece and it is also uniquely made. The 7 pane mirror system is all on one frame and hooks to the top of the dresser part with metal spikes which I have never seen before. I wish I had more of a history of this piece but the pictures speak a 1000 words. As you can see from the pictures this piece is in good condition. Retains the original CHAMPAGNE finish. The piece shows some minor signs of use as with any piece of this age. Antique Kling Maple Wood? Shaving Valet Vanity W/Tilt Mirror & Drawer
I believe this is maple but could be wrong. pictures make it brighter that it actually is. Old vanity shaving valet. has tilt mirror and nice drawer that comes out easily. has a few stains and some scratches on top as you can see by pictures but other than that its is really great condition. Nothing broken. Chipped, warped or cracked. Measures 18 inches wide, 22 1/2 inches tall and 9 inches sideways. Quite heavy and box will be big and oversized and probably weigh around 14lbs packed. Art Deco. Ornate Vanity with etched and beveled Mirror stamped Basset 1943. Matching stool/bench is included without photos(I can send if interested) Refinished in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. Base in"Old White" and detailed in"Henrietta" which is a pinky lilac. Finished with 2 coats of clear wax for a subtle sheen as well as protection and durability. Dovetail construction, very solid& well made by Basset. Original ornate Brass and celluloid handles. 4 Deep bank draws with center drop. Like new condition, mirror has some minor black spots lower left to be expected due to age. Does not interfere with use. Measures 46" W x 18" D x 30" H- 60" H to top of mirror. Vintage Danish Mid Century Modern Credenza Dresser Sideboard Mirror Vanity Teak
This is a very special vintage danish modern piece. It was custom made in the late 1960's by a danish trained cabinet maker by the name of Drazka. He immigrated to the United States after apprenticing in Denmark as a cabinet designer. He then went on to make cabinets for high end homes around the country. Before moving to Las Vegas in the late 1970's. In Vegas he was contracted by several major casinos on the Las Vegas strip, and he designed many of the bars and seating in the nightclubs and restaurants in the strip casinos. This bedroom credenza w/ full size vanity is his own custom design. He built it for himself. And was in his bedroom for the last several decades. Made from 2 types of wood(teak and birch. I was told) it had solid brass hardware, and is in absolutely incredible condition for being approx 45-50 years old! It measures ... moreapprox: 60" long. 23" tall, and 18" deep. The mirror measures approx 28" wide. And is 72" tall! The great thing about the mirror is it is large enough to reflect a full body, head-to-toe view. Perfect as one is getting ready for an important meeting or date. The mirror is set into a custom built teak frame. This is truly a one of a kind.
