Spectacular pair of very formal hand made inlaid Chest of Drawers. Made by Irion Furniture Company(I believe they were made about 2008) This company is recognized as one of the top makers of antique reproductions. The craftsmanship is incredible. The crotch mahogany used, the finest! The inlays, precise and beautiful! If you google search this company you will find out much more and I believe the wait, when ordering, is well over a year. The pictures tell it all but here is my description. Shaped top SERPENTINE FRONT mahogany chests with inlaid chamfered corner columns and stepped out bracket feet. Burled panels with bellflower and other inlays adorn the pieces. Cockbeaded drawers with triple bead inlaid drawer fronts. Serpentine fronted drawers with handmade dovetails. Poplar secondary woods.
