This is a fabulous, QUALITY piece manufactured by Link/Taylor before they were obtained by Lexington Furniture Company. The dresser is dated August, 1970. The dresser is substantial. It has 9 drawers with the middle three drawers concealed behind a double, decorative door. The dresser is antique white with a slightly mottled finish. It features both gold and silver leaf accents. The hardware is very nice. The door pulls have long back plates with a faux key pull. The doors have a pierced brass accent that flank the arches. The brass is of a floral motif. I cannot tell whether this is original, but it is old and it is quite striking. The sides of the dresser have arched panels with wide wooden trim. The legs are a short cabriole and the bottom features a ... morescalloped apron trim. This is a gorgeous dresser with an abundance of functional storage as the drawer space is quite generous. Queen Ann High boy tall dresser chest vintage white custom
This High boy in the style of Queen Anne. Was custom finished in a flat off white color with custom gloss brown hardware. I had it finished before we had completed the renovations on my daughters room. Sadly when the room was completed it became clear that due to some building changes this lovely piece no longer fit in her room. I has been used for maybe 3 months. I've tried living with it but it really is just too big for her room. Which explains the bad pictures its so tight in her room that getting a good picture was almost impossible. 3-Piece Dresser & Night Tables, Regency Style (White Furniture Co)
A beautifully constructed. Solid ensemble of a low dresser with two matching night stands. These heavy pieces were manufactured by the well-known White Furniture of North Carolina(which ceased business in 1993) the markings on the rear panels identify Providence probably signifying either the name of this line. This bedroom furniture appears to be from about 1965. The pieces have richly veined& feathered walnut veneer with brass collars on the legs. Brass frames on the sunken panels of the drawers, floral-medallion brass pulls, and brass ornament(wreath and garland) in relief(typical of English Regency/French Empire design) The tables have one drawer and two out swinging panels enclosing a compartment. As with most furniture of this age-about 50 years-there is some wear to the lacquered top surfaces(a few scratches and the lacquer is ... moreworn away in a few places-the top surfaces could be lightly sanded and resprayed with lacquer) There's also a small chip on the one of the legs of the dresser and some wear on one corner of the top of the dresser. Apart from these minor defects. The furniture is in very good condition. Everything is solid, and the drawers glide easily. No staples! no particle board! Here's a fabulous vintage retro upcycled mid century modern dresser or buffet. Restyled by me. This is a Fashion Trend made by Johnson-Carper Furniture Co. This beauty has great lines and timeless design in walnut with veneers. Very Danish Modern with the bentwood drawer fronts and tapered legs. When I found this. The top and drawer fronts were too shabby to salvage- so I gave them a re-do in glossy bright white paint with a lightly pebbled texture. The rest of the dresser was cleaned inside& out and finished off with a coat of wax, which brings out the nice grain patterns. This is a solid and well made piece. The 9 drawers slide smoothly. It has a few dings and light scratches. Like most vintage furniture, but nothing too glaringly obvious. It is marked on the inside of one of the drawers"Dixie" and there are original tags on the back that state it was bought in 1961. All four sides of the drawers are hardwood with dovetails in each corner. Original marked"brass" French style hardware that have been brushed white for a shabby chic look.
