This is a really Beautiful Vintage Tall Lingerie Chest by American of Martinsville! It has a very traditional style. Leaning toward French or Italian, that fits in very well with most decor styles! It has 7 drawers and beautiful solid brass hardware as you can see in the photographs. It has a creamy white paint with a natural walnut top and is in very good condition as you can see! The top has a small wear spot on the right side and it does have some light signs of use from the decades. But overall it's really fantastic shape! The chest is currently in Boynton Beach. Fine quality American Drew chest made of Cherry. Drawer fronts and top are solid cherry but the minor flaws at the feet indicate there is veneer on the sides. Not sure on age. My guess is 1975. Aside from the minor flaws at two feet the only super minor flaw is some spider cracks on one of the sides. All significant flaws are pictured and most folks would not consider them significant. Vintage 1970's American Drew Chest of Drawers in a Country French/French Provincial Style with a Serpentine Front. The chest has been finished in an antique white paint and distressed. Distressed mostly on the legs and beveled edge of the top. The chest has 4 full drawers; 2 top drawers. And 2 double bottom drawers. The bottom drawers have a foe front making the drawers look as though they are 2 separate drawers(big deep drawers are great for storage) Each drawer, and foe drawer, has 2 ornate brass pulls original to the piece. The top panel has curved sides and front. All the drawers have a curved serpentine front, and the base trim is in a curved design. The legs are curved scrolls in the French Style. im selling some very beautiful furniture made by american of martinsville. these are made very well with solid woods and are sturdy. these come out of my grandparents home so they were adult owned for many years. they are smoke free pet free home. please look at the photos as they are a one of a kind with some awesome design on the wood grain. I hate to see them go but i just dont have the room for them. these will look good in any room of the house.
