Printed in the early-19th century in England, on quality paper which retains its inherent structural flexibility and soundness. In near VG or better condition. Small dampstain to bottom right blank margin, light toning to margins as seen[note: we grade very conservatively and always seek to disclose any noteworthy flaws] The printed area remains visually pleasing, a nice impression of an interesting image. The map stretches from the Caspian to the Red Sea and from Cyprus to the Persian Gulf. Münster's magnum opus, the encyclopedic Cosmographia featured thousands of eclectic and vivid woodcut images: portraits.
