This map is titled Arabia and was published in Pinkerton's Modern Atlas by Cadell& Davies. Strand; and Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme& Brown, Paternoster Row, London. It is dated July 20, 1813 in the lower margin. Pinkerton's atlas was one of the best English atlases of the early 19th century. This map was drawn under the direction of John Pinkerton by L. Hebert and engraved by Samuel Neele. 254 Strand. There is a distance scale in the lower corner, showing both Arabian and British miles. The map has wonderful detail. With hundreds of place names and a highly attractive appearance.
