ANTIQUE BRONZE LAMP SHADE VICTORIAN LARGE RETICULATED BRONZE CHINESE MOTIF
This is a very large solid Bronze Shade. I estimate it to be from the mid eighteen hundreds to very early ninteen hundreds 1800's to 1900's. It has a lovely Acorn finial. It is carved and reticulated. It is missing a section of mounting wire underneath and parts of the rest of the wire are loose. It needs a little bit of work. The fringe insert fits in underneath and is still very lovely although not perfect. It has holes all around the bottom edge for beeds or crystals so I am not certain if the fringe went with it originally but it is yours included so you have options. It measured appx 24" wide x 12" high. No reserve auction. If you might miss the end of the sale let ebay bid for you fairly. Barsony Era Lamp 2 Little Black Boys
Up for sale is a Barsony era/style lamp. A beautiful lamp base featuring 2 little black boys with one holding a red ball. The front of the base is black and white striped and sides and back are black. The lamp has some general paint missing which you can see in the photos. It is like the paint has just flaked away. There 2 chips on the back of the lamp one on the edge and one on the edge of the hole for the cord. The wiring has been removed but would be easy enough to have rewired. Stunning 19c Art Nouveau Handpainted Sevres Style French Portrait Vase/Urn converted to a lamp. This lovely lamp is 22.5" tall and 7.5" wide. The porcelain urn is about 13" tall. It has wonderful details of a maiden surrounded by pretty Iris flowers. It is artist signed" Brices or Bricey? Nice gold detailing. The lamp works. But it needs to be rewired for safety. The two lamp chain pulls are different. I did not take apart the lamp or attempt a cleaning- I will leave that up to the experts. There is not a Sevres mark on the bottom of the porcelain, but there could be a mark on the inside of the urn lid. Now for condition: The metal is in good condition and the porcelain is also in good condition with no chips. Cracks, or crazing. There is a lot of gold detailing which is mostly intact on the center portion of the vase. ... moreThere is some minor gold loss on the lid, with more gold loss on the bottom portion of the vase. The paint is mostly intact with the exception of the bottom piece of the vase were there is more paint loss wear and some yellow spots. The lamp stands at just a slight angle, but I think it just needs to be adjusted with the vase pieces and the lamp stem/rod. Please pardon all the reflection/glare lines- these are not flaws. This lamp is absolutely beautiful and in very nice condition. This is a large lamp consisting of three separate pieces. It includes a large base. The four figures that comprises as the main section of the lamp and third the decorative lamp shade. This is the ultimate lamp for a Victorian, Colonel, or even an Art Deco room in your home. Do you or a member of you family play or listen to classical ... moremusical instruments, if so, it would be a great lamp for the one of a kind music room. The base section measures approximately 17" wide by 5" high and 11" deep. The center or 4 figure main section of the lamp measures approximately 15" wide by 18" high and 10" deep. And finally the lamp shade that measures approximately 22" round an 17" high. It total the lamp measures approximately 43" high including the finial that holds the lamp shade. Please look at the photos provided and judge the condition for yourself. Also. Please look carefully at the maker's mark on the bottom of the base and the lamp. We can not make out what it says except for Made in Italy. It does not appear to say capodimonte. But it is our understanding the they used a few porcelin lamp manufacturers to produce their lamps due to the high demand. This is a very ornate lamp with much detail and lots of gold paint. The 3 figures are composed of one figure holding a large bass or cello type instrument. PAIR AUTHENTIC EARLY VICTORIAN ANTIQUE CARRIAGE LAMPS Another quality item searched for with care by Jims Things This pair of authentic carriage lamps date from the mid nineteenth century and will make sensational candle lamps for either side of a large front door. They have a small bracket fixed to one side which originally would have held them to a post on the carriage but could still be used for holding them today with a little ingenuity. The tubular brass candle holders are fitted with bayonet fixings inside the lamp so that they can be locked into position after fitting them with candles over the long springs inside. Which held the candle top inside the lamp at the correct height. They have dents and marks to them where they have been gripped in the past to remove them. The rest of this pair of lamps are in excellent condition and have ... moreside windows that are on opposite sides to each and have their original bevelled glass windows. The backs of the lamps are hinged to fall in a downwards direction. Locking with a clasp at the top, and have small circular red glass windows with a brass border. The oval shaped front lenses are both surrounded with brass shades in very good condition and the insides have the original. Undamaged copper reflectors. ANTIQUE BRASS (OR BRASS PLATED?) PHARMACY LAMP needs glass shade, minor work
I have owned this lamp since 1982. When it was purchased from a local estate clearance place. I do not know how old it is. It came without a shade and I've fitted it with a traditional looking green glass shade in the past(last one broke, easily found in lamp shade stores) The lamp has a height adjustment screw in the middle of the post(shown) and it can be as high as 52" or as short as about 3 feet. The wiring was restored in the past 20 years and works fine. The brass screw which adjusts the angle of the shade is a little"droopy" and could probably use some work. The lamp has a total of 3 adjustable fittings- the one that dictates its height, the one at the top of the post that sets the angle for the side arm, and the one that adjusts shade angle. Shade is held in by 3 screws, which are present. Needs polishing.

This is an item you don’t see very often: It’s a brass embossed pole lamp in art deco style. With green onyx on the base, the shaft, the ... morebottom and the top. What’s really unusual is that it had two ashtrays in the center, along with a cigarette case and an electric lighter that sits upon a brass embossed shelf. There are two holes, and I’m not sure what they’re for, whether something is missing or whether it’s the design. It needs to be rewired of course, and there are two sockets on top. It has the original finial but needs a shade. The shelf size is 13 inches wide by 9 inches deep. The height from the floor to the shelf is 27 inches, and the height to the finial is 61 inches. The brass shaft starts down from a plain brass rod down to an embossed rod, into an onyx hood, more reeded brass embossed rod, then and unusual fluted tapered onyx piece of shaft then the smoking tray, and then below that, more onyx with the stepup base with the art deco design, and that base is probably metal rather than brass. It appears to be all there except for the shade, and remember that it does have to be rewired. You’d really have a difficult time finding another piece like this unique and dramatic lamp. 1920's Antique Art Deco Brass and Genuine Milk Glass Dome Lamp Shade Hand Painted Ceiling Lamp Light Shade This listing is for a very nice antique art deco shade. It dates from the 1920's. Along with the shade I am also including the brass ring. This is a very large light shade. The diameter of the large dome shade is 17" and it hangs an amazing 7 1/2" high. This is a very heavy shade as well. Suitable to be the center piece in a nice large room. Ring could make it possible to hang from the ceiling or attach to a hanging fixture. This is an absolutely stunning hand painted colonial style genuine milk glass shade. The outside of the shade has a satin finish. The large glass lamp shade does have 2 chips. One is along the edge which would not be visible behind the brass ring. The other is on a white part of the shade itself, ... moreso it would be almost impossible to see it from the floor looking at it. There are no cracks aside from the normal wear found on the fitter edge. The shade looks amazing when lit and it was hard to show in the pictures. The lamp is painted a light pink/purple hazey color, which is most likely original. I cannot say for sure if the flowers were added later. Overall condition of the shade is good for its age.
