Century Purple Glass Lamp- Rare Color This listing is for a beautiful original antique early 19th century ... moreglass bell jar lantern lamp. This lantern comes with its smoke shield and is a beautiful very dark purple amethyst color(the lid is lighter in color but I do believe it is the original smoke shield for this lantern) It retains its original brass fittings and chain. The shield measures 10-3/8" across and the bell jar measures 9-5/8" high and 8-1/2" across. Condition is good. There are manufacturing flaws and irregularities in the glass(air bubbles and lines and folds in the glass on the lid. These are not cracks or damages but happened in the making) The glass has a few air bubbles that were broken through on the surface but there are no chips or cracks and no repairs. There is just the usual chipping along the opening hole in the lid where the chain comes through(that is normal for this type of lamp) One of the peacock heads has lost its little clip that folds over the bell jar edge(see pictures) but that does not compromise the stability or ability to safely hang this lamp. This lamp has not been converted for electricity and is in good original antique condition(even the glass is covered in age dirt, but I will leave the cleaning to the new owner in case they like the aged look) Please excuse any glares(white patches) that you may see in the pictures. These are caused by reflections of light on the surface and are not on the actual object itself. Please note that I am located in the Netherlands(Amsterdam. This is a great piano lamp made by the R. Hollings& Co. in Boston. The lamp adjusts 5ft tall to 6ft 10 inches. The lamp has been electrified some years ago but it has a new cord. This is an original ca. 1920s-1930s Art Deco industrial style desk lamp. Made of chrome and milk glass with a toggle-type switch. The lamp stands approximately 11 ½” high and the base is 5” across. Neat Art Deco styling. No maker’s mark that we can find. CONDITION: Some spots on the chrome finish, should clean and polish up nicely; lamp works but the cord is very worn and cracked and would need to be replaced. This is a wonderful wood whiskey barrel. Keg lamp with metal bands that overlap and attach just as a full size barrel. The lamp is in perfect working condtion and is free of any deep scratches or gouges in the wood. Measures 10.5" tall up to the shade bale and is 19" to the top of the brass bale. It is 5" in diameter. The shade is authentic burlap. Is in really nice condtion and I believe it is probably original to the lamp and looks terrific. An awesome addition to any cabin. Vintage BedSide Table Lamp 15" Molded Decorative Clear Glass Floral Shade Cute
For sale is this cute little bedside table lamp purchased from an estate sale. This lamp stands 15" tall and is made of a very decorative pressed glass. The style is very old fashioned and victorian looking. The bottom is octogon shaped and measures 4 1/2" across. This lamp has been rewired at some point and works great. The socket and switch looks like newer metal. There are three different glass sections with metal between each section. That metal shows a bit a rust but you have to look close to see it. The shade is paper and has a floral pattern in greens and yellow. It attaches to a normal size light bulb. The bulb purchased with this is a 15 watt and does not come with the lamp due to shipping regulations. The shade measures 6 3/4" long and is 8" across on the wide side. It is in great condition other than it might ... morebe faded. This lamp is over all in good condition for its age and can be just what you are looking for. In good working con dition as the pics show with some wear from age as s hown. The porcelain has some imperfections as s h own with the woman's hand no longer being attached to the dog. One of the finials is not original as shown and one of the shades is slightly di scolored. On e of the brass bot toms is damaged in what I believe was an attempt to see the underside to find a maker's mark but there is m ore metal under it. I'm not sure of the make but they remin d me of Nymphenburg porcelain but I cannot say fo r sure. We are pleased to offer this exceptional pair of Mid Century Stiffel porcelain lamps. This pair features exquisite design and detailing. They have very nice. Heavy brass bases with Stiffel's unique self leveling feet. The bodies are beautiful white porcelain, fine china vases with a lovely twig, leaf and berry pattern. The pattern is black outlined with gold gilted interiors. It is a very soft pattern which is dotted throughout the bodies but is not too busy. It gives the pair a wonderful, chinoiserie feel. The porcelain also features bands of gold gilt. Though not visibly marked, the porcelain is very possibly by Lenox China as they quite frequently partned with Stiffel during this time period to create some of the most beautiful lamps of the Mid Century. The lamps have tall brass rods leading to the double arm sockets with pull chains. ... moreThey also retain their original finials. One of the lamps still retains the attached Stiffel manufacturer's sticker. The lamps are in very good condition with some age spots on the brass bases but no other evidence of their age. They have vintage wiring but it is in good, working condition. There are no shades included with the pair. This is a rare pair of Stiffel lamps. They are an extraordinary pair and were Stiffel's top of the line design. The lamps are large. They each measure 31" tall. The bases are 6.25" squared. The putti is carrying a large, bulbous, glass urn/vessel. The glass is exceptional. It features a swirled design with interior white painted finish. The paint technique is somewhat splattered and is quite striking. The lamp base features a brass bottom with an upper marble section which is white with gray veining. Center top section has draped prism strings and top has curved spires with prisms. I counted approx 410 total prisms with 5-8 missing. UNIQUE LEADED GLASS LAMP; GREEN-BROWN PATINA; HANDEL DUFFNER WHALEY ERA
For sale is a classic Unique Company leaded glass lamp. This exact lamp base with the Saturn socket cluster(photos 3-4) and patina is shown in Paul Crists's book"Mosaic Shades II" at p. 47. As you can see in photos 3-7. This base exhibits Unique's varigated green-brown patina. According to Paul Crist, in"Mosaic Shades II" at p. 48, The most attractive examples[of this base] are in a varigrated green-brown patina over copper plate which is virtually identical to Tiffany's famous finish- an achievement that speaks to the experience and professionalism of Unique's manufactory. Photos 3 and 7 are the best representation of the actual color of this lamp base. This Unique lamp base stands 23 inches tall. The bottom of the base is 8 inches in diameter and has Unique's classic counterweight. The base has three ... moresockets with matching 8.5 inch long acorn pulls. Two of the sockets are the early Hubbell sockets with the raised letters"HUBBELL" on the socket shell. These sockets have their original porcelain inserts(photo 6) and mica insulators. At some time in the distant past. The third socket was replaced and the socket shell patinated green and black. I cannot tell the manufacturer of the socket shell as there is a lot of coating on the outside. However. I did replace the interior of that socket with a next generation Hubbell porcelain. All three sockets click crisply and function properly. The lamp has been completely rewired. You can have the old wiring if you want it. The electrical cord has been replaced with a black rayon(cloth) covered cord that is period appropriate. The lamp retains its original black Bakelite plug. see photo 11) The shade is 17 inches in diameter and 9 inches deep. It is unsigned but has has Unique's periwinkle pattern. Variations of the periwinkle shade are shown in Mosaic Shades II at p. 74. All of the glass in the shade is intact with no breaks or missing pieces. There is some slight surface rust that seemed to buff out nicely when we sprayed some W-D 40 on it. But the entire piece is solid and intact. Uses either B-10 or F light bulbs. Antique Tiffany Stained Leaded Glass Lamp Base #460 Very Nice
This belonged to my Mother. As a child growing up in the 1950's I remember this having a large Tiffany style shade about 20"24" in diameter on it. After she passed away lamp shade got separated from base accidentally and got sold. It has a Bryant Electric Company single pull switch that operates each lamp separately and simultaneously, it works fine. Very heavy lamp weighing almost 5 pounds. The lamp measures 20" tall with an 8 1/2" diameter base. Thanks for looking.

Antique Brass Shoes Lamp
Up for sale is a lamp with(i believe they are brass) shoes on the base. The lamp does work but am not including a light bulb in the lamp when shipping. The base reads"HAROLD D. ROWLES NOV. 1944" I cleaned the lamp as best as I could. Without taking it apart. There are green marks on the shoes. It is being sold as-is so please refer to the pictures. The shade is loosely fit. Large Antique Lamp.Hand Painted Pink Roses& Gold, This auction is for a huge antique lamp that has beautiful hand painted roses and gold colored accents against royal blue backgrounds. From the metal base to the top of vase area. It measures about 18" and from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial it measures about 33" It has these gorgeous large pink and red roses and also buds, but I cannot find any signatures as to who did this. It is mounted on a metal base with a brass or gold finish which shows some wear in areas. We have had this about forty years and two years ago we had it professionally rewired. It has a double light socket and still has the original finial. The backside of the lamp is rather plain as you can see in the pictures. The only two issues that I can see are shown in the last couple of photos. There ... moreare two scratches in the paint on the backside,near the base. Also around the brass plate on top of the lamp there is some wear areas but there are no cracks or repairs to the lamp and it does display beautifully. It will require a very large box for shipping and to save somewhat on the shipping cost, the rod that holds the sockets unscrews and therefore the height of the box will decrease. This is a great brass signed. Bavoux" on bottom of base and on tank cap) antique oil lamp. Also marked(not sure this is accurate) Brevet Dinven Et Perfection. Sans Gar Du Gouter. J.B.X. on piece which extends out to burner. Unusual design. Stands 16 3/8" tall. Very good condition. There appears to be 2 repair as shown one where teh burner extension piece attaches to tank and the back of the tank. The back of tank repair appears to have a small hole in the repair. Finger loop at top appears to be misshapen but may just be crudely designed. Screw-on tank cap moves freely as do height adjustment lever and wick adjustment. No wick. Mid-Century Porcelain Lamp Pair Pink Balls Spheres & Ornate Brass Bands
Offering these antique luster ware lamps. Luster iridescent porcelain with volcanic(raised white porous) glaze. These lamps are probably from the fifties. But could have been made in the forties or sixties. Please use your own judgement. The lamps have their original hoops and finials and measure 30" tall. The total height of the four spheres(including the metal bands) is approx. 15 1/2" Each sphere measures approx. 3 1/4" tall by approx. 6" in diameter. The spheres have no chips. Cracks, or repairs. There are two to three tiny spots of light wear beneath the metal separating rings. Not seen. Covered, and not detrimental. Any lines which may appear to be scratches in these images are white glaze streaks and original to the finish. There are two or three tiny bubble pops and several tiny black cinders trapped within the ... morewhite eosin? glaze. All original. Very minimal wear. If any, to the glazes. The plug on one lamp has been broken and will need replacing. The other electrical parts on both lamps look good. But one might want to re-wire the lamps for safety's sake. The lamp with the intact plug works. I see no reason the other lamp won't work after that broken plug is replaced. I disassembled the lamps for cleaning as shown in the image of the lamp lying down. As you can see in this image. The bottoms of the spheres are not glazed. The open criss-cross brass tone metal bands are in very good condition with no damage. There is an aged patina to the metal. I didn't clean these bands or the metal lamp bases. Except to wipe them off. There is minor loss of the finish to the metal bases on both lamps. Not bad except for the one area on the one lamp base as shown. These lamps will be shipped separately for an insured flat rate of $60($30 each) This offer applies to lower 48 states only.
