Antique Karpen Furniture Company Vanity Table Mirror with Wood Stand & Frame
ANTIQUE KARPEN VANITY MIRROR Acquired at an estate sale is this Karpen vanity mirror. The Karpen& Bros. furniture company was established in Chicago in 1880 by German immigrants Solomon and Oscar Karpen. At the height of their success in the early 20th century. The company employed several hundred people, and was considered a leader in the upholstered furniture market. Karpen was purchased in 1952 by the Schnadig Corporation. And towards the end of the 20th century the company was still manufacturing furniture from Chicago, with plants based in various locations around the United States. The original Karpen plate is present on the back of the bottom cross bar. Overall measurements are 25 ½ inches tall. 21 ¾ inches from foot to foot and 10 inches from the front to the back of the footed base. The mirror frame measures 21 ¾ ... moreinches tall. 15 ¾ inches wide and about 1 ¼ inches thick. The actual mirror measures 19 ¼ inches tall and 13 ¼ inches wide. The mirror pivots and there are metal turn knobs on both sides. The mirror has some antiquing lines and spots– difficult to photograph. There are no cracks. Chips or breaks in the mirror. The wood base and frame are all intact without any cracks. Breaks, damage or signs of repairs. Unknown wood. There are some scuffs and scratches to the wood that can easily be touched up. There is one tack missing from the backing- see photo- the backing is secure and in place. Walnut Vanity with Triple Mirrors - CIRCA 1930 - Dark Wood Tone - NO RESERVE
This is a beautiful vanity. But it does need work done on the center mirror. I tried to take picture but the camera would not pick it up. There is damage to the center mirror where the silver has peeled off. This is the original mirror and all three mirrors are beveled. There are also 4 wheels missing from the dresser and a small chip out of the bottom trim. Vanity measures 48"W x 69 1/2"H(at mirror) and 16 1/4"D. Antique Oak Wash Stand Pre 1913
This antique oak washstand would be beautiful with a little TLC. It is very sturdy and has a towel bar mounted above the stand. The door hinges need work. And as pictured, on the side of the washstand, the veneer has a small warp. This piece was manufactured by O.H. Bradley Co. that was located on Main Street in Rushville in 1911. In 1913, a fire devastated that portion of main street and the O.H. Bradley Co. never reopened. The back of the dresser is stamped"O.H. Bradley" This would be a wonderful heirloom piece.

Antique VANITY DRESSER Vintage 3 Mirrors - Made by "The White Furniture Co."
This is a lovely antique vanity or dressing table. It was made by"The White Furniture Company" established in 1881. It is solid wood and quality built. It has the triple(3) mirror that folds in and out. As far as I can tell it is all original except for a wood support strip we put on the back for the mirror which was missing when we bought it. There are 6 drawers in great shape and they have the dovetail joints.

Beautiful piece! I have not seen another piece like this one. Owner was 93 years old when I got it and have had it for over 25 years. It needs refinishing and some minor repairs to restore it. It will be worth it for a beautiful piece of antique craftsmanship! Must see to appreciate.

Antique Vintage Hand Painted Dollhouse Dresser Chest of Drawers Floral
Up for auction is a very pretty dresser with hand painted flowers. Paint has a chalky look to it(no varnish. The sides and back are blue. While the drawers and top are cream colored with pink and red roses, blue flowers, and orange and yellow flowers. It has a shabby feel to it. Size: 4-5/8" tall X 7-3/4" wide X 3" deep Condition: The chest is in good condition but there is a lot of paint loss. Most noticeably on the front of the drawers. Please look at all pictures. Unique Art Deco/ Art Nouveau vanity and stool. Solid wood. We purchased this in a vintage furniture store in Bogota. Colombia. The mirror is not the original which cracked in shipment. The piece has two drawers and two additional compartments with a shelf separating the space. There is also a glass shelf(not shown) Connecting the upper wood surface. There is some separation in the center seam of the wood(shown in close-ups) due to climate and humidity fluctuations of the places we've lived. Antique Oak Washstand, Rough condition, needs work
This is an genuine Antique Oak Washstand. We have the harp that also fits on the top of the washstand. This Washstand has a very nice appearance. But it is not in very good condition. The drawers are all in need of repair. They are sometimes difficult to pull out. The overall cabinet is solid. The finish on the wood is really very nice. I am sure that it was once stripped and refinished as the surface looks very clean. The pulls are all reproductions. I hope that you have gotten the message from me that this washstand is in marginal condition. On the other hand if you are familiar with bringing these antiques back to life. Antique Vintage Chest of Drawers Dresser Lawrenceburg Walnut Furniture Clothes
Used. Measures about 48" x 19" 43" There is a stamp on the back of the piece in black- see pic. I cannot make it out. I can read what I believe is Lawrenceburg Warranted Manufactured. The other words. Especially the top and what appears to be state initials I am unable to read. This piece is very heavy. The wood appears to be walnut. It has been refinished- that I can tell. I believe it's a gorgeous piece! But that is my perception. I believe it is is from around the turn of the century. Someone told me 1850- 1860. But I do not believe so because of the black stamping on the back. There are 2 holes on the back of the piece on each side toward the top. My guess is for a mirror. But I could be wrong. There is no mirror with the piece. Item(s) will show the following where applicable: age.
