Lovely, Victorian style, caned top glass covered coffee/side table-oak
I am not sure how old it is. It was purchased in an antique shop and has been in a private home for 30 years. As you can see in the picture some of the caning is broken(I didn't even see it at first) but with the glass top it functions perfectly as a side table or coffee table. Fabulous set of three antique vintage tables! Baroque or Hollywood Regency style. Gold Gilt Very unique design! Fabulously ornate! All have pedestal bases. All come with glass top. These are very heavy sturdy pieces. Appear to me to be made of wood and possibly gesso but see photos to come to your own conclusion. You will not see another like this set again I can almost guarantee it! I was told by the previous owners relatives that these are Italian. Beautiful Solid Mahogany Lamp Side End Coffee Table F/ England W/Cabriolet Legs
This auction is for a unique. Pretty and very well made table from England. With it's unique size and shape, it could be used as an end table, lamp table, side table and even a coffee table. Again, this is a well made table. It has a thick cut beveled edge top as well as the wavy cut apron under the table top and four thick cut cabriolet style legs. It has some very pretty wood grains showing through on the top. The table is 24" X 24" and about 18 1/4" tall. It has a medium dark mahogany Patina to it. It has some small blemishes to the finish on the table top(light or dark spots or marks) nicks. Dings& scratches to the top as well on the legs and apron from normal use over the years.
