Authentic Antique Louis XV Italian Marble Top Table
This is an authentic antique Louis XV table with a beautiful(and heavy) marble top. It is from my private collection and has been in my family for many years. The wooden frame of the table is very sturdy and the marble is in excellent condition(not cracked or scratched. Etc. The underside of the table has some thin wood peeling but you would never be able to notice it without physically looking under the unit. The peeling doesn't affect the stability of the piece- it is definitely in usable and presentable condition. The table is located in Brooklyn. NY and is available for free local pick-up. Up for Sale Two very fine matching inlaid lamp end tables with custom glass tops. Thin carved legs and intricate carving throughout that appear to be Louis XV style tables. These tables are in very fine condition with minimal wear to the wood and has been well preserved under the 1/4" top sheet of glass. One glass sheet has a small chip out of the edge. These tables are a rounded triangle/clover shaped. Each leg has embellished floral wood carving on the top half and lines leading down to the carving on the feet. Both have a small curved triangle shaped shelves low on the legs. Table tops and side trim have colorful floral inlaid design. There is some crazing to the finish on the tables but no loss to the structure or appearance. Hello, This beautiful dining room table is stunning. Possibly from 20's? It has been in out family for over 30 years. My mother spent 2 years looking for this table. And a set of chairs to go with it, when I was a child. Unfortunately it is too nice and too large for for us to us with our kids and current housing situation. It has been in storage for too long and it is time for it to be appreciated again. There are a few wear and tear marks as pointed out in the photos. But they are small considering the age. One leg has had had the foot glued back on, but it split in such a way that the integrity of the leg is not compromised. You have to look pretty close to see it. My high bid was between 1000/1500. But of course there were a few other people who wanted it.and of course that made me want it more.lol.I"had to have it"lol I was pleased it didn't hit 1500.that was my cap! lol. Fourteen hundred plus bucks. And a very satisfied grin later. I was on my way home with the piece: I've never looked back. Sometimes we regret spending money. But this wasn't one of those times. I've always loved this one and right now I need to sell some furniture because I am downsizing as well ans money is very tight. Sometimes you just have to let things go and give it new life.
