This very unique Dick Pope Jr. coffee table is comprised of 3 wooden water skis with a very sturdy pine base.The base is designed so that the braces are angled which give the table a sense of movement. The tabletop design allows for items to be placed on the skis only and leaves gaps in between each ski. We would be more than happy to add an acrylic top to the piece; however. Antique Pine Trestle Coffee Table. Dimensions of the coffee table are 44 inches long by 19 inches wide by 18 inches tall. Condition: This piece has a lot of character including shapes. Faces and letters carved into the wood. Looks like it was done by children. I don't know exactly how old the table is. It is missing one of the pegs that holds the trestle together. I put a pine peg in just to hold it together. I like it the way it is, but it could easily be refinished. Also the 2 feet that it sits on are a little loose, It could either be re glued or a couple of screws could be added to tighten it up. This lot is for a rustic handcrafted pine table made in PA of reclaimed pine flooring. I cannot make out the word between"The? Craftsman. PA" Signed on the bottom shelf. The table's exact measurements are 59 7/8" L x 16 1/4" W x 30 1/8" H The lower shelf is 48 3/16" L x 11 1/8" W x 6 1/4" H The legs are tapered. I believe the legs are the apron are old wood. But not as old at the shelf and the top of the table. The table is very sturdy. There is a crack in the lower shelf. But again, it is steady and supportive. Other condition issues: There are holes in the wood where the floor nails used to be. There are surface scratches and a few dings here and there. Rustic! Reclaimed Wood Pine End Table Desk on Antique Sewing Machine Base
This hand crafted tabletop is made from 200 year old southern yellow pine milled from a reclaimed carrying beam from a 1800's barn. The original beam was 12 x 15 inches. The boards for this top are 1 inch thick and top is finished with classic breadboard ends. The boards are glued and biscuited. The breadboard ends are pinned in the center and free on the ends to allow for expansion and contraction due to moisture. The grain and colors are incredible. The boards are stained with a light oak colored stain and finished with Antique Flat polyeurethane. It is mounted to an early 1900's antique sewing machine base from a maker in Maine.
