Tea Table features nice deep color and grain pattern. With a scalloped skirt resting on four cabriole legs with slight carving to knees, with protective hard rubber foot terminal ending. There are no candle slides on this model. Construction is rock solid steady with stamped markings underneath, but no maker name, could be any one of several small factories making colonial reproductions of good quality well before the internet and big box store days. Glue blocks on corners undererneath are nice and sound. This is all solid wood, not a cheap chip board foreign mahogany lookalike with sprayed laquer finish that looks garish in person! Condition Report: Slight rub mark to leg as shown. Small burn mark on top. General wear and tear of a used piece. This is a beautiful Victorian age solid mahogany split pedestal base ball and claw banquet table that comes with three 11-inch-wide table ... moreleaves dating from the 1900’s. The table looks like it has been refinished by the previous owner within the last 10 to 15 years. But it does show normal wear and tear and some nicks and dings. It comes with a skirted single leaf and two unskirted leaves, all 11 inches wide. The table has been finished in a dark reddish-brown rich luxurious mahogany stain with a satin sheen lacquer, and it’s a pretty nice quality job, as the pictures will show. The only flaw I can see is that where the table closes, the table leaf doesn’t close up completely on the seam. This happens quite a bit on split pedestal tables, and it just needs a latch put underneath to tighten it when the table is closed. The overall size is 54 inches wide when closed, and 29.5 inches tall. When the three table leaves are inserted, it is 87 inches long. This gorgeous table has a lovely ogee beveled edge around it on the top, with a three-inch mahogany skirt, and it sits upon a split pedestal bulbous turned center column, with four finely detailed ball and claw talon feet. This auction is for a very old candle/plant stand. It is from the 1800's. It has been in my family for many generations. I am not sure if it is walnut or mahogany. I was told it was walnut but just not sure how to tell. The photos show the condition of the stand. You can see on the top and the bottom of the top piece. It does come off and you can glue it permantly if you like. When I ship it I will wrap the round piece off of the stand and that will protect it better. I just left it as is. The top piece has some seperation in the wood and you can see on the bottom where it has been held together with old clips. It has a little area where the wood is chipped on the bottom rim. Each drop leaf is one board. the table has slide mechanism to hold the drop leafs up. they work well and are of wonderful design and construction this is a very early piece and is all original as far as i know. it is very sturdy. I was told this is a tea table. It has a tilt-top or drop leaf. When the table top is raised it locks into place. It shows wear from years of use and has a nice patina. I don't see any damage or repairs. It is marked Mahogany and I think the maker's label or store label says T ENN for Tennessee(see photos) What I really like about this table is that it has a cross bar at the top for carrying. This is a vintage Victorian Mahogany table. I believe it is called a lamp or plant table. No marble top. It was broken and I did not include it. it measures about 18" tall and is 13" across the top. The wood table is in very good condition with normal wear from age(no breaks or repairs) I do have the marble top but it was broken and glued back together. If anyone is interested I will include it, but of course shipping will go up to 19 lbs. purchased at an estate sale.

Up for auction is a Queen Anne style Mahogony pie crust or scalloped ball and claw 41" round coffee table. Similar to tables that are sold by Henredon. The diameter of this table is about 41" at its widest point and it stands about 19" tall with four ball and claw feet. The table is in good condition with only normal signs of wear and tear visible. The table has an interesting wood grain pattern on the top along with a raised pie crust or scalloped edge around the circumference of the table. Ornate details on the ball and claw feet add to the antique charm of this table. The table is sold as is and comes from a non smoking home. Genuine solid mahogany side or end table with Italian marble top and rose pull drawer in very good used condition. Please check the photos carefully as they are part of the item's description.
