This auction is for an antique SOLID MAHOGANY slant drop top desk. It has all sold wood drawers mahogany on all sides bottom with tongue and groove fitting etc. It has a good finish on most parts and there is only a few spot that have some minor damage. The screws for the sliding hinge on the left side need to be repaired but since this desk top was made too be held with only one hinge it is still solid. There are 3 brass keyhole locks. There are 6 drawers 2 in the desk and 4 on the outside. In the one drawer there is a sticker that says this piece of furniture is made of SOLID MAHOGANY and there is a shield symbol with a S&T trademark including a symbol of a tree and a dresser. I haven't found out who the manufacturer is. There are pigeon holes for storing letters misc in the desk. The solid brass pulls are all there.
