The paint is a beautiful crackle green finish and it has a piece of the original hardware still attached. Its in great shape for it's age, the only damage I notice is on the left corner of the crown molding, it is cracked and splintered(can be glued) and the paint has flaked off. The other corner has some damage but not as bad. The back side I might mention has some damage where it was preyed of the wall. There is no paint on top of the crown molding and the other end where the molding was cut to fit the space. Great character and statement piece. Quantity of 100. Reclaimed, century old, Victorian roof shingles available. These Victorian era Church Arch style tin shingles are over 100 years old. Measuring approx 9" x 13.75" each. Made around 1902 from Cortright Metal Roofing manufactured in Philadelphia and Chicago. They can easily be joined together to make rows. Little or no rust. Some dents and slightly curled edges from removal(easily pounded or straightened out) and nail holes from where they were attached, some(not all) have a little roofing patch on them. Vintage Stick & Ball Spindle Fretwork Panel Victorian Old Architectural Salvage
Re-listing this due to some things I overlooked in writing the description. Corrected below. Auction is for a vintage. Original Victorian period stick and ball or spindle type panel of fretwork- Striking wall hanging piece against a light background and set off a wall it throws some off some great shadows. Open center is an interesting element. It is stained a brown color and is hardwood. It is in great shape considering age. The finish has worn unevenly in spots- has some imperfections that include a'ball' missing in the center that attaches it one of the four sides, one of the spindles nearest the center is not attached at the one end and there may be a few others that are loose and perhaps shifted position over time and the previous'buyer' pointed out that the balls were not uniform in size- and since they were hand turned ... morethat is possible and likely, but I do not see where it detracts. I don't see where anything else is missing, damaged or has had a major repair, but please check the photos before you bid or buy- both sides are depicted. Size is 58 inches long by a little over a foot tall. I'm guessing the shipping calculator is going to show the cost to ship as being higher than it actually will be. Antique Fretwork in original mahogony finish. Fretwork is in very good condition with no breaks and is very tight. It has a Lyre pattern in the center with hand turned vertical spindles on each side. The piece measure 120" long x 16" What is very nice about this design is that it could easily be cut down to fit any space less than ten feet. Buy with confidence. Antique Victorian Brass and Ceramic Interior Bell Pull, Ornate
This is a pretty Victorian brass and ceramic interior bell pull. It dates from the late 19th century and has the makers mark"T.P and S" stamped in 2 places. There is also the number"7618" It has an ornate brass handle and 2 ceramic parts. These are embellished in gold and this enameling is worn in places. The bell is approx x 12.6 cm(5 inches) long and from the screw fitting to the centre of the large ceramic is approx 7 cm. There is the remains of a chain attached to the bell pull. When viewed from above the smaller handle looks slightly bent forward. I'm unsure if there are any pieces missing but what you see in the photograph is in overall good vintage condition. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ORNAMENTAL ARCHITECTURAL CAST IRON ROOF CRESTING WIDOWS WALK
Please scroll down under this description for 27 additional views. 19th century ornamental cast iron roof cresting sections salvaged from a Victorian house. This is the lacy details that Italianate and other Victorian houses had running along the peaks of the roof and around towers and turrets. There are 10 pieces in all. Three small fragments and seven pieces that are more substantial. The height at the highest points is 12" The legs at the bottom have a forked foot which is how they were attached along the roof. No piece is longer than about 12" but you will see in the photos that we were able to piece them together like a puzzle to create longer sections. They have an encrusted surface with rust but what we have seems sturdy enough for re-use as something other than their original intent. A line of them would look great along ... morethe top of a headboard made from an antique door. They can be applied with masonry screws to the top of a brick wall. They can be dramatically arranged on a mantel or hung on a wall. 18 Lineal Feet of Twisted Crimped Corrugated Ornamental Wire Fence 32" tall. I have cut down height from 42" to 32" +- Some of bottom tangs were heavily rusted and gnarly. Length is exactly at 18. This is fencing that was in use for 60- 80 + years. I have had it in the dry, in shed, for 20 or so. It is rusted, weathered and has some green from long gone moss. Fencing is Not crumbling or shedding piles of rust crumbs. Shipping weight 22 pounds. See pictures for detail.
