The wide end with the glass measures 17 1/2 inches wide with the glass being right at 15 inches wide. The top mounting pipe we have installed is 10 inches long. You can make this light shorter by changing out this pipe with a shorter piece. Or you can make the light hang further down by adding a longer pipe. This pipe is common 1/2 inch black iron pipe you can buy at most hardware stores pre-threaded. We have used a hammered gold paint to give this iron pipe a matching brass look. The ceiling mount is 3 1/8 inches wide with four mount holes. This light has been re-wired with all new UL-Listed parts made by Westinghouse Electric. Our newly installed lighting hardware is rated for any voltage under 250 volts, so normal house power is not an issue. The new bulb holder takes a normal screw in house bulb with a wattage of less than 150 watts. Since the inside housing has very little space restrictions, you can even use the newer compact fluorescent bulbs, or a spot light with a common screw in base. Our wiring exits the center hole of the ceiling mount and we provide about 30 inches of extra wiring. When we find these lights. They are painted. We have removed the paint and polished the copper and brass. We do not try to polish our lights to the point they look new, so some buyers may spend some additional time doing additional polish work to get the light to your desired finish. Most people we have talked to hang our lights of this design with no additional polishing. Vintage Chrome Ship Boating Bow Stern Green Red Warning Light Nautical Maritime
Up for auction is a vintage boating warning light recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is found in good used condition. I am unable to test this to see if it is operational or not, but certainly could be made to work. This light has a tear drop shape and would be mounted in the bow to determine port or starboard sides. It is consistent with 1950-60's era boats. This light would be great for reuse or as a nautical decorative accessory. There is pitting and paint on the chrome surface, as seen in the photos. The lens appears to be plastic. It has a nice deco appearance. I cannot find any markings or numbers. This light measures approximately 3 7/8" x 6 1/4" x 3 14" in size. A nice maritime piece. Great for repurposing in your industrial or steampunk home or for using on your vintage ship. This lot includes 4 cast metal wall sconces with a screw-on cast aluminum or cast metal cage over a red or blue shatterproof glass dome. Each light is very heavy and durable. The glass domes read. GB Inc. Type H-1, 2034L" and on the red domes, the name is GTG Co. The cast metal dome cage reads, 9-S-4594-L" and the cast metal wall mount reads, 5333-L-14" The entire fixture stands 8 1/2" tall and 6" wide. The cage diameter is 5 1/8" and the dome is 6" tall. Up for bid is a vintage bow marker light fixture complete with oil burner made by Kilborn-Sauer Co. Out of Fairfield, Connecticut. The body is galvanized and top is brass. The top has written on it KILBORN-SAUER CO FAIRFIELD CONN U.S.A. The body is in good condition. Near the top rear the lip has small tear. The brass top has a small crack where it attaches to the galvanized metal. No cracks visible in glass but both pieces have several chips on the external ribs. The burner looks to be in working order and the wick screws up and down. You can use kerosene or bottled lamp oil that is easy to find. The tank appears clean and dry( I have not added oil to it. Vintage Copper PERKO Nautical Ship Lantern Electrical Marine Light Gulf Oil
This 16 1/4" tall electric lantern with an all original patina and toggle switch is from the estate of Howard Craven. He was a ship captain for the Gulf Oil Company until he retired in the early 1950's. When he then took up painting ships with oil on canvas. His father was also a ship captain, so I'm not sure which one used this lantern. It is all copper than I can see. It would be beautiful polished up, but I chose to leave it as is for those of you that would prefer it in it's original condition. Vintage Marine Ship Navigation Light Nautical Maritime Lantern Clear Boat WW II
My husband is organizing his shop and parting with quite a few items. Here is one of those items and his description of it: Maybe a good Christmas gift for the nautical collector in your life? Vintage marine ship’s iron navigation light. 180 degree clear glass Fresnel lens Navy? WWII? I picked this up at an estate sale and planned to use it as yard lighting. Turned out it did not fit the landscape plan. This is a large ships navigation light. Either for the stern(showing white two points abaft of the beam, starboard and port) or masthead light(forward, showing two points abaft of beam, both starboard and port) This shows a bit of light surface rust in spots. The result of years at sea. There is no internal mounting or wiring for a bulb, but that could be easily designed and installed. The gasket around the hinged lid is missing, but could ... morebe replaced with some type of weather-stripping. There are two small chips in the Fresnel lens, as shown in the photo. These should not affect the durability of the lens. You can see the imperfections in the lens from the glass casting process, as sign of its age. This stands 11 ½ inches tall. 8 inches in diameter(across) 9 inches across the top latch and hinge. The Fresnel lens is full width and 7 inches high. The base is round with“bayonet” mounting slots and is 5 ¾ inches outside and 5 3/16 inch inside diameter. The lid is held closed by a hinge on one side and thumb bolt on the other. The lid swings open freely. This is how I found it, I only cleaned the lens to confirm no other damage. I put a light inside it to show what it looks like illuminated for the pictures. The light does not come with this piece of marine hardware. As many ships navigation lights are made of brass or bronze. I can’t help to wonder if this was from a WWII ship, a time when these metals were in short supply and needed for munitions manufacture for the war effort. This is a nautical theme hand painted wood table lamp with a lighthouse seagulls sailing ships sailboats and ocean. It has a crackle type surface and is hand painted. Pictures reflect a bent spot along one of the upper seams. Approximate size is 14.5" tall including carry handle by 9" wide. This lantern has NOT been converted to an electrical light. Nice pair of old Perko split-lens boat oil lanterns from my collection. These were just restored over 20 years ago when I purchased them. One side is green the other is red. These are galvanized lanterns with brass trim and top ring. They are each 8" tall to the top of the ring. And 5" across at the base. The last four photos show the lanterns sitting on top of a flash light to show the color of the lens. All lens are crack-free and not chipped. Unique Vintage Nautical Ceiling Light Fixture Ship's Boat Anchor Brass
WOW! This great. Unique nautical-themed ceiling fixture would make a terrific addition to anyone's nautical-themed room or beach house! The fixture is composed of a great brass anchor that has six stars in the center and a rope embellishment that wraps around the entirety of the anchor. At the top and on the points of the anchor hang three lovely. Lantern-like fixtures that are screwed into the anchor. The fixture retains its original cloth-wrapped copper wiring and should be rewired prior to use. The sockets are all original and made of porcelain. Note that there are slight bends to each of the shades. It's hard to notice, but I try to be accurate in my descriptions. Approximately 17" from top to bottom and 15" across at the widest point. Please note that I have not tried to polish any of the brass in the event that the ... morenew owner wants to retain its rustic feel. The globes are dusty and the entire fixture could use a good scrub. You'll need a fitting that will hold the fixture to the ceiling after a pole is inserted through the center hole. 2 VINTAGE "PERKO" PERKINS MARINE LAMP LIGHT SHIP BOAT NAUTICAL Port/Starboard
I don't know anything about these as they were found in an estate clean out. I was told they are Perko lamps but found no markings- please do your own homework. Both look to have been rewired based on the 12v sticker inside. Now they have 110v wiring, one is missing a plug. Look to be made out of brass and galvanized, and the exterior of the galvanized is painted a flat black. Both lenses appear to be in great shape and are stamped'Perkins C/L 3 Side' and'FIC259 Mould No 3' They are approx 12" x 6" x 6" each and weigh about 3 3/4 lbs each. There is only one mounting bracket, but you can be make another quite easily. Please ask any questions you might have. Vintage Nautical Barometer Lamp, Ship in Bottle & Starboard Copper Lantern
A rare vintage nautical barometer lamp with a ship in the bottle and an antique copper starboard oil lamp with a blue glass lens. The barometer is a Carrington. Which was made in England, and is in working order. The antique copper starboard oil lamp is a Tung Woo, and is in excellent condition for its age. The 3 way light switch controls both the lamp and lantern, so one can light both lamps or just one of them. The vintage ship in the bottle has a chain attached to the cork, which is anchored to a brass post on the base of the lamp. The base of this lamp is bordered with fisherman's rope, as is the barometer. The wood on this vintage lamp may have some scuff marks from its long journeys, but appears in great condition for its age. The lamp stands 30” in height, 20” in width, and 10” in depth. Large Ship Lantern Lamp Port Red Vintage Nautical Boat Double Curved Glass
Gorgeous Port Light Lantern. Lantern measures approx. 10 inches tall(not counting the pail 3.5" type handle) by 7 inches wide by 6 inches deep. I have sold a half dozen nautical lamps and this is by far the fairest of them all.inside 7 out. It has a beautiful patina. Only one very small dent, no scratching or chips. There are two layers of curved glass.the exterior glass(Barcelona Glass) is clear and a red internal curved piece. Both pieces excellent.no chips or cracks There is an opening. Surrounded by a rubber gasket, going into the lamp. Not sure what it is for, maybe a lead light. I placed a small light in the body to show what this lamp can look like. Could be electrified quite easily with the hole already there. Great looking lamp. Would look great all lit up out on a boat dock. By the pool or on a patio. Could be hung, attached ... moreto a wall bracket or just set on a shelf. Excellent Condition. There is some type of mounting bracket on backside. The lid is also very tight with solid hinges. I gently eased the top off with a screwdriver to open. You must remove the screw all the way to open.it slides into a hole as shown in pictures. There are 4 little feet on bottom with holes for air circulation. Would appreciate any info you might have as to maker as there is no hallmark on the lamp. Believe it's early 1900's. You will love this lamp.satisfaction guaranteed. I am also hoping to pick up it's starboard mate. The owner was reluctant to part with one lamp let alone both. I understand why!

We had this on display and have moved to a much smaller home and just don't have the room for them anymore. They make a great display and conservation piece. These measure approximately 9 1/2 inches x 8 inches x 12 inches high. This light is yellow/amber in color. We were told that they used this type of light for side markers and towing lights. The gentleman we bought these from is a member of the Corps of Engineers and gave us this information about the light. They are off of a riverboat that was over 100 years old and its home was on the Cumberland River. They scuttled the boat in the 90's to make it a home for fish(a fishing reef) He saved them for himself prior and used them as display. Lantern Vintage Kerosene/Candle Ship Railroad Auto Barn Nautical Maritime E-5
This is an old lantern. I do not know where it was used. It has old paint and surface rust. It is about 5“ wide and 6” deep. With the handle up it is about 14” The top cap is 3 ½” in diameter. The side has a slide plate for inside access. There is a small glass window on the back. The front flat glass is 5“ in diameter. It has some deposits on the inside. I do not know if it needs a kerosene holder or work with a candle. Neither are included. It is for display and non-operating. As always since 2001. Nice pair of vintage Ship lights. Selling as is. Can use a good polishing. Will try to describe as best as I can. Copper lights with bronze hardware/signage. Marked STUURBOORD and BAKBOORD. Thick Red and Blue glass. Inside is a label for DHR( Den Haan Rotterdam) Outside is marked MADE IN HOLLAND. Electrified. Tested and working fine. Not sure if these were oil lamps at one time. The tray holding the light does slide out. The hardware does seem to indicate the lamps are side mounted. Each light is about 2 pounds 5 ounces.

Up for sale a vintage copper& brass maritime ship lamp with a green glass globe. The majority of the metal is copper although the back may be brass. The globe is partial and is sealed inside. The case is 14 inches tall measuring to the top of the handle.The round portion with the globe is 8 inches in diameter and the base portion is 8 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches square. This has been wired so the light is in good working order. There is a brass plate on the outside(pictured) it shows Starboard RT 400 NK 77. The globe is marked with a triangle with GGG inside it,also it shows BT43698 and HI 09/03/76 HI 09/01/81. The globe glass is in good shape.
