Well designed for interior or exterior use. Each light weighs over 6 pounds. From the top of the wall mount to the the bottom of the globe cage. Each light measures about 10 inches tall. When mounted to the wall the light will extend out from the wall by about 6 1/2 inches. The wall mount measures ... more4 inches wide and has four mount holes. The brass cage spins on and off to give access to the undamaged glass globe. The glass globe also spins on and off to give access to the bulb holder. The globes are true red and green glass, not clear glass with paint. We have installed new bulb holders in each light. The bulb holder and new wiring was made by Westinghouse electric and is stamped"UL LISTED" The new bulb holder takes a normal screw in house bulb of 65 watts or less. The wiring and bulb holder will work with any voltage under 250 volts. If your project calls for clear globes for this light, we will change out the red and green glass for clear globes for no charge. Pair Vintage Copper Brass NEPTUNE NR Ship Lantern Lamp Nautical Maritime Cage NR
This auction is for a pair of vintage NEPTUNE NR copper and brass ship oil lamp lanterns. These lamps are in EXCELLENT estate found condition with a stunning and even patina. They are beautifully crafted from copper and brass and secured with a chain and hook in the front. These lanterns both have a badge at the top with the Neptune hallmark and NR. All of the glass is in beautiful condition(with the exception of some dust from being displayed) The globe inside is also in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The oil lamp inside is secured to a metal wire that stays in place by sliding down two opposing corners inside. And sits very securely inside with no wobble. I do not know the age of the lanterns, and have seen only a few similar, but most of then have all brass cages(die to the reddish tint I do believe this is mostly copper) ... moreor have been polished. None have been found also with this exact badge in the same place and this stunning copper patina with the reddish copper undertones that almost glow through. This has not been cleaned or polished, but I'm sure would polish up nicely if the buyer wishes to do so. Each lantern stands 15"high without handle, and 17 1/2" tall with handle, by approx 7"wide. Those would truly make an excellent display piece or addition to any collection. Please see pictures for more details and feel free to ask questions. Two beautiful. Original brass ship's lanterns from Germany. These lamps were converted to electric many years ago, and they work well. Size is 12" tall by 5" diameter. Nice patina, complete, and no damage to glass. These are very heavy lamps. Everything on these two unique and extremely rare lanterns are operatable. Every screw and bolt does what it should. The white stuff you see in the pictures is, I'm guessing is someone at one time, tried to use brass cleaner and did a bad job. I would personally leave them the way they are, but if you want to clean them up, they should shine like the sun. In order to use them. Pair Large Solid Brass Marine Nautical Signal Lights Boat Lanterns Lamp
These are a great pair of Marine Nautical Lights. They are solid brass with heavy ribbed glass shades. They have been rewired and are in working condition. One of the lights has its original red insert so it can be used as a signal light. The 1st picture shows the lights with the red insert in one and a green light bulb in the second one if you wanted to use these that way. Or you can take out the red insert and have both lights clear as in the 2nd picture. Or put in any color bulb you choose. The lights are very heavy. The one with the insert is about 15 lbs and the other 13.5 lbs. These lanterns have handles that you can use to hang them or just for carrying. One of the lanterns has a little more copper tone to it then the other one and has 3 little feet to attach to a deck. The tops can be removed or slid to the side with the screws on ... morethe top to replace the lightbulbs. The globes are marked with a makers name. One of the shades has 2 small internal fissures at the bottom of the globe but they don't go all the way through the glass. There are a few dings and small indentations here and there typical of their age. See pictures) Other than that. They are in good condition and could use some cleaning. ok here today we have 2 early electric large heavy brass ships lanterns. please I am not an expert on maritime so if i make any errors let me know. these stand 14 inches to the top of the handle and almost 11 inches when the handle is down. the diameter of the base is 7 1/4 and the height of the actual glass globe inside is 5 3/4 inches and the diameter of the globe is 4 inches the op cap is held on with 4 thumb screws most of which are good. a couple have some thread loss and do not grip well. one lantern has an additional screw on piece on the top of the cap to accept the electric line. the bottom has a hinged cover with glass insert. unknown if it is original. each lantern has a small hinge on the bottom so you can open and close the hatch to change bulbs. one hinge is missing 1 screw.the othe issue is the handle is broken off on 1 lantern ... morebut i do have it and it can be welded back on. please look at the photos and ask me questions.if you need a specific photo of any part let me know. I did show photos of the broken off handle the mechanism still functions just need to reattach the handle. the shade is 2 part mold glass clear and free of any damage.there are no markings that would help me identify the manufacturer or ship. they will be shipped separately and the total shipping is 45 dollars' No international sales, I go to great lengths to call all issues even some that really are not,so that we are all on the same page when looking at these lanterns

For bid is a vintage pair of brass kerosene wall mount lamps. They are made to turn so they stay level if they are mounted in a boat/ship. One is slightly larger then the the other and 1 is marked"Perko" The one marked Perko measures a little under 6 in. tall with a mounting plate that is 2 3/4 in. across. The other piece is 5 1/2 in. tall and the plate is a little under 2 1/2 in. across. The one that isn't marked Perko does have the words"English Made" on the wick turning screw. The Perko one has a wick and the other one doesn't. They are both done in heavy brass and have a nice patina. There was a sticker at some point and when it was removed. It left a shiny brass area but it should eventually turn darker once it's exposed to air. The Perko one is also missing a few prongs where the shade goes. There are ... morestill enough prongs to hold the shade. Nice pieces that would work great for the boat, garden room or a country room, you will just need shades which are pretty standard. Pair Huge Brass Antique/Vtg Port/Starboard Navigation Lanterns-DURKEE-18" Tall Up for your consideration is a pair of huge brass antique or vintage ships port& starboard navigation lanterns by DURKEE. They measure approx. 11" W X 18" H-See images compared to 2 liter soda bottle. Both lanterns have their original light socket fixtures. However they were cut to be removed from the ship and one of the lanterns has an electric cord added, but easily removed with no modification of the lantern. There is a beautiful patina to the brass. I'm not sure how old they are, but probably 30's-40's. They are very heavy and well made. The mirrors attached to inside back of lantern are spotted from age, there are a few dings in the brass-see images. One is totally complete. The other is missing the two brass bands that hold ... morethe glass in. These bands appear simple to replicate and attach with small screws. Also the glass has a small chip on the inside of the glass. The screw in cap on top of one lantern is marked DURKEE MARINE PRODUCTS CORP STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. the other is not. Both glasses are marked DURKEE MARINE PROD and have bubbles in the glass. They both may be missing some sort of band around the top as there is discoloration there and some holes. These would be awesome restored and either used on a ship or decor for a man cave or nautically inspired room! Overview This listing is for a pair of amazing vintage brass ship lamps with plaques engraved"Star of India. The lamps have a front door that you can unclasp and swing right open when you need to change the bulbs. Behind the bulbs is a circular reflector to augment the light. The glass has rectangular lattice and beside the plaques are beautiful spiral reliefs. Operation These lamps run on electricity and you can view the innards in picture 7. The wires go through the hole in the back and connect right to the wall. The lamps switch on and off via a spinning dial on the bottom right. Dimensions and Condition The actual lamps measure 11.5 inches tall. 8.5 inches wide, and 5 inches deep. The stacks on the top add another 5 inches in height. I would say that they are roughly 7 lbs. each. They are in very fine condition. The only flaw is ... moreone small chip in the glass on the bottom of one of the side panels, but this is virtually invisible during display. History I am dubious as to whether these actually came off the Star of India ship. But these are nautical lamps and were probably for maritime use at one point or another. Even if they are not authentic instruments off the Star of India, they are still a beautiful flattery of the world's oldest active sailing ship. Up for auction is a beautifully restored pair of Brass Cyclone Lamps with Amber glass. I could not find the maker of these lamps other than they are marked"Made in New Jersey" on the front. They are electrified and work perfectly. I found them in an antique shop completely tarnished and dirty. I had them professionally cleaned and polished several years ago and had them mounted above my fireplace mantle. They look spectacular when lit. I recently moved and don't have a place for them. They both have been wired for electricity and don’t have their burners. Although their reflectors are present. They measure approximately 17” high to the top of the handle. And 7-1/4” wide. One lantern still has its mounting bracket. And the globe has a crack on the side(approx. 3” long) Also that cap on top is missing a small piece where it would attach to the lantern. Up for sale is a beautiful pair of old brass maritime oil lantern that is signed"Wedge. These are really fine old lanterns. And very well made. The rivets are copper. There is glass on all four sides behind the grates. One side is a door that opens via a little latch. This lantern measures about 15" tall by 6 3/4" by 6 3/4" with the handle up they measure 22 1/2" The brass has a beautiful, aged patina and the glass is free of any chips or cracks. The burner is a dual wick burner. For maximum light output and visibility. These are 100% vintage and rustic. They have not been cleaned or restored, does have dents and dings, only one have the brass name plate, Untested, and sold as is. Vintage Pair of Brass Ship Lanterns with Red and Green Globes Starboard and Port Note: All items in our store include NO sales tax to our US customers! Here is a great nautical set of large ship brass and copper lanterns for your buying consideration. Recently acquired them at an auction that a party's collection of marine/nautical items were being sold. We will have a number of these pieces for sale separately in our Ebay store. The lanterns would make a great gift or keep them for yourself. I would guess these lanterns are of World War II vintage. No maker marks or year made marks on the lanterns that I can ascertain. Great set of port(red) and starboard(green) brass ship lanterns for your decor needs. The lanterns were electrified at some point in the past. The lenses in each one are glass and not cracked or blistered. Each glass piece ... morewas caulked into each of the lanterns at some point in the past. The lantern cases are in good shape. Show some finish loss. The red lantern has the lip along the top of the lantern bent in and that bottom corner has a ding. The glass lens was not damaged there in either place. Each lantern is 14.25" tall. By 11.5" across, by 10.75" wide. I do not see a maker's mark on the lanterns. The brass tops screw off to access the inside of each lantern. Someone has put aluminum foil inside to get better reflection of the light thru to the lens. These were electric lanterns originally, but the light unit inside is certainly not the original one. The back piece that the lanterns would slide on to a bar are still in place. The cords are the lanterns are older, but still look to be in usable condition. I would recommend you have the cords and wiring checked out by a professional before using them from a safety perspective.
