HUGE ANTIQUE VTG Ca 1904 TIPPED LIGHT BULB PLASTER BASE PANTALOON STEM BLOWN HUGE ANTIQUE VTG Ca 1904 TIPPED LIGHT BULB PLASTER BASE PANTALOON STEM BLOWN This offering is for a large antique light bulb. This has 2 patent dates on top of the brass base reading Nov 8 1904 and Nov. 22 1904. I am by no means an expert when it comes to antique light bulbs. The bulb is quite large measuring app. 11½" in length from the top of the tip top the bottom of the base and the circumference is 26 1/2" The bulb is hand blown having a wonderful free formed tip but does have a slight chip at the tip which really does not take away from it’s appearance. The base is brass with short threads measuring aprox. 1 1/4" in height and 1 1/2" in diameter. The base is also plaster filled with a purple glass button. There is a crack and a ding ... morein the purple glass holding the button. I believe the stem is referred to as a Pantaloon style having a glass tube around each lead that extends upward from from the stem. I checked it out and it tests positive for conductivity so I would say that there are no breaks in the filaments. Due to it's rarity and very early manufacture the bulb is sure make an excellent addition to any collection. I have up for sale a rare vintage original circa late 1800s to early 1900s Marine Division ARTISTIC BRASS& BRONZE WKS NY ship oil lamp lantern complete with original hanging bracket. The lamp is complete with the inside oil lamp with original chimney and reflector. The lamp stands approx 18-3/4" to the top handle and approx 16-1/2" to the top of the lamps upper section. It weighs approx 9 1/2 lbs and the bracket approx 3 lbs +. It is in Good as found original condition- normal general wear but no real issues. Some light surface rust that will clean off. Antique Vtg Rare Perko Nautical Marine Lantern Port Starboard Combination This cool old Perko nautical lantern is a hard to find model. According to my search for a similar one. The lantern has both port& starboard lenses, with a dividing plate between the ribbed red& deep aqua green glass. The lantern has old silver paint with typical surface age. The interior lamp is brass& shows surface greening. The wick advances. One of the two side mounting brackets on the interior lamp is missing. The lantern displays very nicely& the glass on the lantern is free of any chips or cracks. No dents. It measures 11" high to the top of the holding ring by 4.5" wide and 7" deep. Pair Huge Brass Antique/Vtg Port/Starboard Navigation Lanterns-DURKEE-18" Tall
Pair Huge Brass Antique/Vtg Port/Starboard Navigation Lanterns-DURKEE-18" Tall Up for your consideration is a pair of huge brass antique or vintage ships port& starboard navigation lanterns by DURKEE. They measure approx. 11" W X 18" H-See images compared to 2 liter soda bottle. Both lanterns have their original light socket fixtures. However they were cut to be removed from the ship and one of the lanterns has an electric cord added, but easily removed with no modification of the lantern. There is a beautiful patina to the brass. I'm not sure how old they are, but probably 30's-40's. They are very heavy and well made. The mirrors attached to inside back of lantern are spotted from age, there are a few dings in the brass-see images. One is totally complete. The other is missing the two brass bands that hold ... morethe glass in. These bands appear simple to replicate and attach with small screws. Also the glass has a small chip on the inside of the glass. The screw in cap on top of one lantern is marked DURKEE MARINE PRODUCTS CORP STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. the other is not. Both glasses are marked DURKEE MARINE PROD and have bubbles in the glass. They both may be missing some sort of band around the top as there is discoloration there and some holes. These would be awesome restored and either used on a ship or decor for a man cave or nautically inspired room! It would be interesting to know what size ship these came off of as they are larger than any I saw in my searches. Please email with any questions or any knowledge you may have on these lanterns. I am going to ship these in several different packages with the glasses removed and protected extremely well. This is a pair of Antique/Vintage brass boat running lights in fresh estate condition. Please see the photos for condition- there are no makers marks that I can see. The glass lenses are a combo of Red and Green glass. One crack can be seen in one of the glass lenses but no glass is missing so could be glued and still display well- some of the metal fin is missing but as it is at the back of the light it will still display well once it is cleaned. No Reserve on this Antique Maritime Nautical Lamp. This is an oil or Kerosene Lamp. The top lifts open and inside the oil/kerosene and wick container; easily lifts out for refilling. The lamp is missing one of the round"brackets( There are two on one side and only one on the other. Also has been dented on the bottom on the rear side(see pictures) It stands perfectly and the dent does not effect the function. Actually it does not look to challenging to repair? The Lamp looks to be made of solid copper and has developed a rich patina, but being copper I am sure this can be polished to look like new if that fits your taste. From an estate sale is an Antique Vtg Brass Wall Oil or Kerosene Lantern. It measures 13" long and the beveled glass windows measure 4" x 3" All windows are free of cracks or damage. There is some surface rust on the inside but no corrosion to the metal to cause holes or damage so it could be cleaned if needed. The very top of the lantern has been soldered(see photos) but it doesn't affect the workings of the lantern. Antique Brass Boat Lamp Re-purposed or displayed. This lamp will make your day with its great patina and turn-of-the century character. DESCRIPTION The maker. 20th Century Mfg. Co moved from New York to New Jersey around 1911, dating this lamp to the early 1900's. Along with maritime lamps, the company made lights for bicycles, motorcycles and cars. The lamp is constructed of brass with a glass lens and glass reflector in the back. It was powered by acetylene gas. It measures about 8" high. 4.75" deep and 4.25" across the face. The condition is a bit rough. The back glass is cracked and stained. The door hinges are broken, the bottom screw is rusted and there are some bends and dings. DESCRIPTION: WONDERFUL LOOK AND STYLE on this antique or early vintage marine boat ceiling/ wall fixture lamp/ light. Has a very thick and heavy glass shade with a great quilted design to it. Should give off a very nice light. This looks to be made from a very heavy solid bronze, you can see the bronze/ brass color popping out from the old paint and finish. The turn switch is solid brass and works fine. The wires look okay, the socket might need a little cleaning. Outside looks like it has some old gray paint over the body and still has some of its old nickel chrome finish, this should look sharp with the paint removed or looks ... moregreat just way it is! Has 4 mounting holes to easily attach to any surface. Nice size, this will fit in anywhere, measures 8” across the bottom by 3” deep overall. A GREAT EARLY NAUTICAL LIGHT!
