The plaque on the top says"Tung Woo Hong Kong Trade Mark No. M039" I do not ... moreknow much about it. As I recently found it and one more in my grandfathers garage after he passed away. It is rather large, and I believe it is made out of copper and brass, based on the way it has tarnished, but I am unsure. The burner itself, and the glass pieces appear to be in good shape, but the exterior needs to be refinished or polished. This would be an excellent project for a restoration, or just a very cool nautically themed piece to have around the house. I will be selling the second of these lanterns in a separate auction with similar details. The only difference between this one and the other is that this one has a piece of curved metal around the glass over the burner on the inside, and the glass cover is shorter. Pair Vintage Copper Brass NEPTUNE NR Ship Lantern Lamp Nautical Maritime Cage NR
This auction is for a pair of vintage NEPTUNE NR copper and brass ship oil lamp lanterns. These lamps are in EXCELLENT estate found condition with a stunning and even patina. They are beautifully crafted from copper and brass and secured with a chain and hook in the front. These lanterns both have a badge at the top with the Neptune hallmark and NR. All of the glass is in beautiful condition(with the exception of some dust from being displayed) The globe inside is also in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The oil lamp inside is secured to a metal wire that stays in place by sliding down two opposing corners inside. And sits very securely inside with no wobble. I do not know the age of the lanterns, and have seen only a few similar, but most of then have all brass cages(die to the reddish tint I do believe this is mostly copper) ... moreor have been polished. None have been found also with this exact badge in the same place and this stunning copper patina with the reddish copper undertones that almost glow through. This has not been cleaned or polished, but I'm sure would polish up nicely if the buyer wishes to do so. Each lantern stands 15"high without handle, and 17 1/2" tall with handle, by approx 7"wide. It has a hinged circular door with colorless glass lens and a B& L silvered reflector. Original Vintage Cast Brass Nautical Ceiling Light With Copper Deflector Cover

We added the 9 inch copper deflector cover to dress it up a little! The copper cover has a few minor dents that you can see in the attached photos. This light will extend out from the ceiling by about 8 1/2 inches. Overall. It is 9 inches wide. You will need a mounting surface that is about 4 inches round. The cage and globe spins on and off freely as one piece and holds the copper deflector cover in place. The glass globe is undamaged. We have re-wired this light with all new Westinghouse UL-Listed parts rated for any voltage under 250 volts. The new bulb holder takes a normal screw in house bulb of 75 watts or less. The outer housing is copper& the interior is lined in brass. With a brass lamp. The top is hinged& clasped with a chained hook. The lamp lifts out on two brass arms that extend to the top of the lamp. The interior lamp is complete& functioning. All glass is fine& the lamp displays very nicely. There is some slight age greening to the copper& one small dent on the back of the frame. Next to the window. It measures 14.5" tall excluding the handle& 18.5" tall including the handle by 9" wide, including the brass hanging brackets by 6" wide. This is a really unique Antique Neptune Kerosene oil lamp. Is little different from the ones I have searched& It seems to be in very good condition for it's age. The ship lantern stands at a tall 15" without the handle and is 8" wide. The oil glass pot comes out from the top by unhinging the front side then the lantern and flipping the top backwards. With a hook and a latch with a chain for closer. The glass brass oil lantern stands at 4" tall without glass lamp. Seems to be heavy about 6 to 7 pounds. Made out of brass with copper rivets. Has a handle. Also four glass panels. It has a new wick. Not sure if the wick is original it does appear unused. For your consideration we are offering a pair of vintage chrome over copper Red& Blue glass boat lights. These lights were purchased from an old fishing camp on Sanibel Island that belonged to J. Charles McCullough of the McCullough seed company. These lenses are in good condition with the chrome in fairly bright condition. The red lens has a small portion of the chrome missing at the top(as seen in the second to last image) The blue lens. On the bottom, has a little more oxidation than the rest of the piece, but some steel wool and elbow grease should clean it up. The glass lenses are in very good condition with just some slight nicks, 4 of them, to the right side glass edge on the red les and one nick to the right side of the blue lens. It weighs a little over 12 pounds. I'm not sure if it's copper or brass. It's also very LARGE. It measures about 13 1/2" tall, 13 3/4" wide and is approximately 9 1/2" deep from each corner to the back. It was a originally a kerosene or oil ship's lantern. It's an amazing light! It's in excellent working condition, it's been newly re-wired& has an antique switch in the front(converted to electric) The switch is turned to right each time you want to turn it off or no. It has a removable red port glass(see photos of it turned on, with and without the red glass) The clear glass has a small 1/2" chip in one of the ... moreribbed sections; it's a very heavy thick glass so this does not compromise anything. Near the top of the lamp there's an emblem that has the numbers"3883" There is also some etching on both the clear and red glass. I wonder if this belonged to a military ship. As most items on those ships were marked with serial#s etc. The writing on each glass piece says"DHJE 3883, No. 654, E.31.5.61" It's not very noticable and you can't see it unless you really look; it's not seen when the light is on. Condition wise.it's vintage! There are a few dings& dents. Some areas of wear etc.but considering it was a ship light, it's going to have a weathered old look, which I personally prefer. This is a GE Novalux copper brass marine spot light. It has survived a attack by a squadron of red rider packing boy scouts and has multiple bb gun shots to the body and 3 in the lens. It has been rewired with a 110 heavy duty 3 prong cord. It has a sylvania 1000 watt bulb in it that works. The front glass is 15 1/2 inches across. Vintage Antique Maritime Brass and Copper Ship's Lantern - Anchor- England
For sale is a vintage/antique brass and copper maritime ship's lantern made by Anchor in England. It's in great shape. Obviously used and showing normal wear and tear with lots of patina. The lantern has been retrofitted with an electrical ceramic light socket although it does not come with a cord. Beautiful globe- would be a wonderful light fixture for any collector or nautical buff. It measures 12" high, without the handle, 6" wide, and 8" wide including side rings. It weighs 6.15 pounds unpacked. Please feel free to request additional info or pics. And thanks for looking.

Selling a cute little copper lantern. All five panes of glass are individual. The hurricane is in nice shape with some nicks. No makers name that I can find. Says made in Hong Kong on the bottom. This Lamp has a 3 Way Bulb( works) on the top and a small bulb behind the Glass lens( the inside light isn't working) Measures approx 29 1/2" tall as pictured x 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" Condition is as pictured! The interior light isn't working. The top light works fine. Has original Patina or would look great polished! This Lamp I believe had a Kerosene lamp to light up the Glass lens but was later converted to 120 volt which made it more useful.
