Vintage Nautical Buoy Table Lamp Vintage nautical buoy table lamp that stands 9" tall and 4 1/2" in diameter it is made of brass and light steel with a frosted globe. The bottom is weighted down so it can not fall over but it will roll side to side. Also there is a brass bell at the top of the lamp that will ring when the lamp is in motion but it has to move pretty far in order to get the bell to ring. The external wiring is old looking but I did plug the lamp in for a very short time and it did light up(The on switch says DEAL on it) I don't encourage using this lamp without it being rewired. It shows age and is a great candidate for restoration or show it as it is, either way it is a great looking conversation piece. This lamp is being sold as I found it. This is a very different table lamp I got it at an estate sale I know it is older but not sure of the year. I also don't know if it is factory made or home made. The metal I don't know what it is but its very sturdy. It NEEDS A CLEANING I don't do that I sure don't want to mess anything up.It does sit on a wooden base. As you can tell by the pictures it does have some rust on it.If its home made the person did a good job. There are no makers marks that I can see. This is a brass spot light off of a 1923 Columbia River Gillnet boat that is very unique. The lens says'Per Lux 200T' it belonged to a friend of mine who removed it from a 1923 Gillnet boat. Added a cast iron ships wheel type base and converted it to a 120v so it can be used as a table lamp. This particular spot light is pre 1920 and would be a great addition to your nautical collection. Brass Gimbal Lamp, Edison Socket, Bryant Switch Maritime/Train Table/Wall Light
This light measures about 7½" tall. And the base is 4" in diameter. The socket is marked Edison, and the switch Bryant. There is a small ½" hairline crack on the first ring of the base. I tried to photograph it. But it didn't show up in the photo. The loop that hung the lamp has been cut off to make it a table lamp. The cord is definitely not original or appropriate to the lamp. This No Reserve auction is offered"as pictured" with No Return. Beautiful example of days gone by! I think it came from either a ship or a train because of the swinging gimbal. Beautiful cast brass or bronze harp with GE switch. Lamp is about 8 1/2" Tall and 4" at the base. Beautiful Art Nouveau/ Deco style. Entire lamp is non-ferrous with the exception of the base weight. Socket is held in harp with pins[not screws] Small set screw at base of socket is missing. Lamp is unsafe and in need of total rewiring. Switch has good"snap" to it. So it may be good. Here is a 1950s Buoy Table Lamp. This is in fair condition for its age. There is scratches and marks and a dent on the base but is a survivor. The lamp still works but will need to be rewired. Has an original red flashing bulb and it works. The globe has small chips on the base. The nuts that hold the lamp parts need to be tightened and can be done when it is rewired. In super condition is this 1960s All Wooden Table Lamp in a Nautical Maritime theme. The Lamp has a large anchor resting on its side against a big beer keg. The Beer Keg is made of wooden staves and metal hoops. It has a spigot in front. Near the Keg is a wooden Beer Stein wrapped in metal hoops. The Lamp is framed in real rope around the top and around the recessed base. The base is kidney shape and is thick solid wood. The“floor” of the base is grooved to represent a ship’s floor. The Lamp is all original and comes with its original neck. Harp, finial and cord set. The light switch is a 3-way light switch and works on all 3 levels. The Base has its original green felt surface protectors. The Lamp measures 29” high to the top of the harp; 13” high to the top of the upper rope, 11” wide and 10” deep. The Harp measures 9” high. This lamp has a wooden base with a length of rope wrapped around it, 2 belaying bins which can be removed, a working brass ships bell, a brass compass plate and a 12 1/2" ships wheel with wooden handles. The lamp is in excellent condition with no damage and is in good working condition. If you have a nautical themed room or home this is just an great addition.
