The lamps are large and measure 14 1/2" tall and have a diameter of 7" These solid brass ship lanterns at one point were electrified however no permanent damage was done during the electrifying process and the added sockets can be easily removed bringing them back for their original purpose. If you intend to use them with electricity then a new cord will be required as the cords were cut during removal. Neither has the interior oil lamp and I have been told that just about any small metal wide bottom oil lamp can be used. Both lanterns have their original thick heavy clear lens and these are in excellent condition. They also retain their bottom lenses(shown in images) Both tops are hinged with their original thumb screw and have their original bail handle. The brass is in very good condition with no damage. A beautiful set for any nautical themed spot or with a little work a great addition on your boat. Our items come from private estates filled with porcelain. ANTIQUE VINTAGE NAVY SPOTLIGHT LAMP INDUSTRIAL MACHINE AGE RESTORATION HARDWARE
Listed is a great antique spotlight floor lamp.Placed on a wood tripod, that is similiar in style to what is being shown in the Restoration Hardware stores. The antique naval spotlight came off a US Navy ship, measuring 14" x 24" and is in very good original working condition. The levers allowing the lamp to be adjusted from 4-6 feet are in good working condition too. The metal exterior is in original condition, showing no significant dents/dings. The spotlight has been positioned on an antique wood tripod stand, with its original leather strapes. This tripod was made circa 1930s and is in excellent original condition, no breaks and very strong/sturdy. Buyer pays ship/ins. No international shipping. DATED DEC 1944.i got this off an old timer some time ago in san diego and he swore it came off an warship.it is in excellent condition.all the movement are great.up.Down.side to side.it is painted in that old navy gray.the tag he said you can track down excactly what ship.lots of numbers on it.made by ray line in nyc.and its dated dec 1944.so the old timer might be right.my guess off an liberty ship but i'm just guessing.the glass is super nice.as is everything else on it.no pits.it prob works too by the look of it.thanks steve.will be shipped with insurance!

Vintage WWII US Navy Ships Double Light Port/Starboard Masthead Restored Bronze
This is a very nice vintage USN navigation light. It has an older plug on it. It will hold 12 bulbs- 6 each light. There are 3 lights installed in each side of the lamp that are in it come on when plugged in(1 of the bulbs on either side may be burned out. It will hold 12 bulbs- 6 each light. This looks to be made out of solid bronze and/or brass. The red lens has a small scratch and one or 2 very small chips and the white/clear lens has a small chip. This is an interesting item and I don't know much about it. The light appears to be some kind of a navy ship light and it looks older than the cord on it so maybe it was rehabbed but I do not know. We plugged it in and it emits a very faint light and I think the glass may be red but I am not sure. Vintage Floodlight Westinghouse Nautical, Navy, Maritime, Ship light INDUSTRIAL
For your consideration is a very old Westinghouse Electronic MFG. Co. Floodlight. It is very heavy. It's on a stand and the light swivels up and down. A metal plate on the top front says that the watts are 200 and the Style is 1217420. There is a W on the top metal and also in the middle of the lens. I found one like this on Google and it is described as Vintage Nautical. Maritime Floodlight, Naval, Ship Light from around the 1940's. I know nothing about the history of the floodlight but would like to know more about it if anyone can tell me more. The cord is old and I did not test it. This item is large and heavy. I'm guessing it is cast iron and aluminum but not sure of the material. WWII vintage antique navy beacon light 9-S-5311-L read description
This ww2 light as been particularly restoration. New up to date battery pack 6v. New switch. New wiring, new cone and bulb(one the you can replace) there is no bondo or any other kind of filler the metal. There is hardly any pits. Some pits on the glass ring. I didn't want to fill in the small pits it would take the vintage look to it. The light has the original glass. Well this is a bummer I dropped the light and the glass cracked so a plastic replace peace has been put in its place I'll add new photos. Wonderful antique searchlight by GE. Plate on front reads PROJECTOR No 27904. DL 1899954-1 TYPE PC 18 FORM can't make out training circuit volts Aug.19.19 GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY CO. The carbide mechanism is long gone but this light has been repurposed with a new 110volt Socket with an Edison style bulb. Looks great. Original concave mirror still in place. The glass in the brass front ring has been replaced with 1/4" plexiglass. The base is not original to the piece, the base was custom fabricated to display this light. The light measures 22 1/2" in diameter and 22 1/2 deep. The light stands an impressive 6 ft tall. The light assembly still oscillates and can be pointed up or down like it was originally intended. Vintage Circa WW II Era Royal Navy Binnacle Oil or Kerosene Lamp Compass Light. The piece appears complete. It has wear, is dusty/dirty, lite rust a few tiny dings& some scratches. Overall it looks great for its age. Some burner parts look to be copper, brass arm that lifts,and I think reflector is zinc with the largest part being tin or steel. My best guess its tin. It measures about 6-1/4"s long about 5-1/2"s wide about 5-7/8th"s tall. This would be for sliding into a compass binnacle for lighting up the compass without illumintating the bridge. When we were researching this on the internet we found that the Royal Navy contracted to make these under a license with Alderson& Gyde, PLAYMIT and BEC.

Here is a vintage WW11 era ships Light spotlight. Heavy duty piece. This was made to bolt onto a ships rail or such. It needs to be rewired. I have not tried to clean or use this in any way. The bolt looks like it hasn't moved in 75 years. It may take some work to get it loose. The overall structure looks good. Worn paint.
