A 1960's Sound Projects R200B Guitar combo Amplifier. Marketted as the'Four Valve Amp' producing around 3-4 watts into an 8 inch speaker. Obviously having been in dry storage for a number of years, the amp is in unbelievably clean condition, and still has the original card marketing swing ticket proclaiming that the amp is'as seen in Down Beat'the revered Jazz and Blues Magazine thats still published. The only signs of age are some very slight grazing to the Tolex at the corners. The amp is extremely loud for its compact and portable size(It measures 121/2 by 11 by 7 inches) I played a stock standard Strat through it, which had plenty of headroom and whilst there's lots of Strat tone, its more AC30 than Twin reverb, also a Vintage Vester Les Paul which has some very oomphy pickups(although stock) and it struck a real ... moreBluesbreaker tone, starting to break up around 5 or 6. In spite of a single tone control its pretty flexible tonally. Technically its a slight odball. The valve line up being two 12FB6 Preamps, a 50-L6 Power valve and a 1-35Z5 Rectifier. Mint condition True Bypass single loop effects pedal. Bought on eBay maybe 1-2 years ago from a small no-name boutique builder. Pedal is all hand wired and uses the best components. Works perfectly. I only used it for a short time before my pedal addiction lead to me running out of room for it on my board so it's spent most of its life unused, hence the like-new condition. I had it set up to be able to simultaneously kick on several other pedals preset to a certain tone. Or you could bypass your board entirely and go straight to the amp with one switch for a clean tone, which is also nice insurance if you're run into connection gremlins at a gig. Sunn 100S Vintage Hand Wired Tube Amplifier Head for Guitar or Bass, Made in USA
Selling my beloved Sunn 100S all tube vintage point to point wired amplifier for guitar or bass. I believe this to have been made around 1968. But Sunn dating is difficult. This thing is in great shape, sounds great, and has no issues. Made in USA with a power rating of 60 watts. However, Sunn's were very loud for their rating. this thing had no trouble keeping up with a 100 watt Marshall and 350 watt Ampeg. I have 6550 power tubes in it right now but it can also take KT88 tubes. I also am including an extra set of 6550 power tubes. The amp currently has a solid state rectifier in it that can be simply unplugged from the tube socket and have a tube rectifier(5AR4 or GZ34 tube) inserted in its place. I preferred the solid state rectifier for reliability and more headroom, but you may prefer tube. Check my feedback and bid with confidence!

This was given to me. I don't know the year or what it came from. I think it's from a Jazz Bass and it seems to be USA parts with CTS pots& Switchcraft input jack. The only markings on the building say"Made in USA" Unknown if it is Marx or Radio Flyer. Or another brand. It has a small socket with a light bulb that is wired as you can see from the pictures. It is untested. The item has obvious signs of age, use, and wear. There are scratches and scuffs as well as some rust. I don't see any major denting though. I am not sure what scale this would be used with but the dimensions of the entire piece is 6 inches by 4 inches by 3 1/2 inches tall. Early HAND-WIRED Airline transistor radio model GEN 1106A, plays , USA made.
Here is a neat set. A very early, 1957 vintage AIRLINE 6 transistor radio. This radio was made in the USA, and HAND WIRED, no printed circuit boards! All the transistors are PLUG IN RCA units, it has 2N140, 2N139, and 2N109 transistors. The chassis is steel with brass plating, built solid. I have replaced two of the original capacitors that went bad, and fixed the 9 volt battery connector which also broke. The radio plays well, picking up the local AM broadcasters just fine, and some distant ones at night. The fidelity is not great, but it plays with good volume, it is a very early unit, some of them were not known for stellar sound, and part of the reason they used SOCKETS for the transistors is at that time transistors were not real reliable. The leather case is in nice condition, it has some staining on it, but it is still soft and pliable. ... moreBoth the leather tabs on the back snap on and off nicely. The dial center is brass and has some scratches on it, but the plastic part is in good condition and the dial markings are very easy to see. I am selling this classic radio in as-is condition, with no returns, exchanges, refunds nor warranty. It was tested last night and was playing just fine. LBA 1401 Stereo Mic Amp - hand-wired all-tube mic preamp made in USA.
Hi. Mike here of. I built this preamp probably in April of this year and its been a real champ at my since. I'll be completely honest. Its seen a lot of use over these few months. It completely kills all the other preamps I've owned or have ever tried in terms of stereo imaging and depth of field. IMHO, the level of sonic fidelity is absolutely off the charts. I even sold off my beloved Groove Tubes SuPRE after the 1401 Preamp completely decapitated it with beautiful tone and dimensionality. It sounds like the most beautiful day in 1970 when you use it to record drum overheads and roll back the treble controls on the 1401 preamp. Needless to say, I loved it so much I decided to start building a bunch more for my studio. I'm about to release a new version of the preamp and would like to sell off this first version to help fund ... morethe new builds. A couple days ago I modified the preamp slightly with a couple of the new updates. But not all. I added on a pair of voltage regulator tubes on the B+, which really makes the preamp sound to my ears like its more sonically accurate. I also changed some resistors and capacitors in the power supply. The new B+ voltage required a re-biasing of the preamp tubes, which was also done. On the front panel, there used to be an orange jewel lamp with an incandescent bulb behind it. The jewel is now clear and behind it is no longer a heater filament amperage thief, but rather one of the two voltage regulator tubes glowing bright neon orange. This phone is hard wired and matter of fact I purchased it at an estate sale and it was hard wired into the wall when I bought it. The phone has the number 4-60 on the back s I was wondering if that could be the date of purchase. It is covered with stickers that were put there by the owner. Other than the stickers and I would think marks from normal usage I don't see anything like cracks or breaks. It was still in the wall but I have no idea if it is still working. I would think the phones were shut off when the house was empty. It is very heavy so I plan to put it into a flat rate box. I purchased it new from west LA music. It was only used occasionally. And never gigged. It comes with the original foot switch. Original papers, a new set of Svetlana EL 34 power tubes, power cable, and some extra VHT logos I had made to go on some of my own cabinets. This amp goes from super clean with tons of headroom to all out scooped metal tones. It is incredible versatile. USA Custom Made Boutique Guitar Tube Amplifier / Thomas Amps Hand Wired
I was unfamiliar with Thomas Amps. So I googled them and found out a few things about them. This is a boutique tube amp made by Butch Thomas out of Bethlehem, Georgia. Thomas Amps does have a facebook page for further information/posts regarding them. They produce custom hand-wired amps. This particular amp measures 13" x 14" x 8 1/4" and has an 8" Jensen Made in Italy speaker. Sounds great and is in good working condition with no problems that I can detect. Input 1 and 2 have different tones, Input 1 is the cleaner of the 2. I'm not certain how many watts this amp has, I haven't been able to figure it out from looking at the innards, but maybe you can see something I can't. The yellow tweed exterior is in very clean condition with no tears. It's a great looking great sounding amp. Thanks for looking!
