Brass and Glass Antique Oil Lantern British Captain's Chief 1935 Fully Functions
This is one remarkable piece of history. It works too! This brass Captain's lantern for a ship was made in 1935. We have been assured this is the real deal. It has the oil lamp piece that comes out so you can maintain it then right back for those long trips on the sea. This is called the Chief light from Great Britain. It is a great size about 1 foot 3-4 inches high(guessing- it's not in front of me) Very sturdy with the strength bars all around and the glass is all good. This was very well maintained. The latch has been worn off so it closes with a wire loop. This is one I'd love to keep but business is business. With everything so dependant on electricity it would be a great idea to have some back up light that is proven and will last a while. Wish you the best.

I have examined this unique pitcher and can not find a makers mark or any mark at all. I am convinced that this is a very old hand made item. The patina is untouched and the pitcher appears not to have been repaired. The person who I once purchased this from was heavily into Maritime objects. It is very well constructed and seems to be made of brass or copper.

Antique 1893 Royal B and H Railroad Bronze Brass Oil Lamp Lantern 120 YRS OLD
Up for sale is an Antique Bronze Royal Lantern. It is also marked B& H on the fill cap. Which I assume is for the Railroad. There isn't a globe with this. Nor handles, but it does have several early 1890's Pat. No on the cap and around the rim. It is in good condition with some green corrosion around the bottom and small dents in the body. It has scratches and other usage marks. But I don't see any cracks or holes. The coil springs on the inside need to be reset when a new wick is put in place. It is empty and untested. Pair Vintage Brass Cargo Ship Boat Nautical Maritime Oil Wedge Lantern Light
Up for sale is a beautiful pair of old brass maritime oil lantern that is signed"Wedge. These are really fine old lanterns. And very well made. The rivets are copper. There is glass on all four sides behind the grates. One side is a door that opens via a little latch. This lantern measures about 15" tall by 6 3/4" by 6 3/4" with the handle up they measure 22 1/2" The brass has a beautiful, aged patina and the glass is free of any chips or cracks. The wick is still intact. They are in excellent condition with no dents or damage. A very nice and highly collectable pair of lanterns!

VINTAGE NEPTUNE NAUTICAL BRASS OIL LANTERN-1920s This is a lantern that would have been used on a ship or in some other“nautical” way. The lid has a latch and a hook. When you open the top part. It exposes the inner lantern with chimney. This lantern can be removed by pulling up on the 2 brass handles in opposite corners. The wick is in good condition and can be used. In the main lantern housing. There are 4 panes of glass that fit into a track and are removable for cleaning. There are a few chips in the bottom of this glass but they do not show from the outside. You can use any"lamp oil" for this lantern. Measures 6 ½” wide x 6 ½” deep x 14” high with handle down. PLEASE SEE PHOTOGRAPHS FOR MORE ON CONDITION. For auction is an old oil lamp. Very unusual one, I think. I have not been able to figure out too much about it. It has some age though. The bottom is weighted, which I was thinking might indicate that it was to be used on a boat or ship. The only marking is on the knob and it has an R and V on each side of a anchor. I have had this a few years in my basement bar. But changing themes and it is time to let it go. I am not sure it is functional, but the way it is made I would expect that it might be. It still displays very nicely. The center cap in the top flips up and it also opens at the base of the top as well. There is an oil lamp inside that does have the wick. In the center there is a very thick ribbed glass lens that has no cracks. There is a brass anchor hook on the top and the bottom. No dents, nice vintage condition. Antique Maritime Oil Lamp Gavlvanized appearance but may be Brass
This Nautical Antique Oil Lamp has a galvanized appearance but I feel this is a patina created by use. I feel it may be brass or chrome plated brass as a magnet is not attracted to it. I did not want to disturb the surface as some of my buyers may appreciate the natural aging. It is 8 1/2" tall not including the top ring and 4 1/2" wide. The bottom screws off to access the oil. Container and wick. The globe in design looks something like those found in a lighthouse. As you can see from my description this is not my field of expertise, but this little lamp obviously speaks for its self to the maritime collector.

This antique brass/copper oil lamp is in excellent condition and has a beautiful patina. Only 2 tiny dings at the very top of the chimney about 2mm wide. It measures 13.5"H by 7" W. I can not find a makers mark. But I don't want to polish it to find out. Many antique dealers prefer brass or copper items in there natural aged state. The glass is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks and is beveled. Still has the original oil container with wick and the wick turner does rotate.

Vintage Nautical Maritime Ship's anchor oil Lantern/Lamp with Fresnel Lens by"Ancherlicht" This brass anchor Lamp will bring wonderful 360 degree firelight in the cockpit or cabin of a boat, or add a touch of nautical decor in a home or patio. The flame is enclosed thereby protecting it from being extinguished by the wind. This anchor light came on our classic sailboat when we bought it. We used it in anchorages to save electricity and kept it as a back up onboard while cruising outside the U.S. Sold in vintage condition allowing buyer the choice of cleaning. The Fresnel style lens is made to magnify the oil lamp light. The anchor lamp is named for it’s use. A white light is required to be displayed at the highest point(the tallest mast) on all vessels at anchor or under way at night. N ice old Perko Oil Lamp Font Part all brass made by Perko as shown on the bottom. I believe most of their Oil Lamps were made for boats/ships. In really nice condition. The burner says P& A MFG Waterbury Conn. It opens up as shown in pictures. Has a little screw that probably held in a shade. Great piece. TERMS: Payment is due within 3 days from end of Auction. Quality polished VINTAGE BRASS NAUTICAL SHIPS CARGO LIGHT OIL LANTERN VERY SOLID
This is a VERY HIGH Quality brightly polished VINTAGE BRASS NAUTICAL SHIPS CARGO LIGHT OIL LANTERN and VERY VERY SOLID. Measures 10" tall with top loop standing up straight and approximately 4.5 inches at it's widest point. Classic design. Heavy thick brass. Bottom unscrews where oil and wick can be placed. Glass Globe is a 1/4" thick glass. This lantern weighs a surprising 1 pound and 14.1 ounces(almost 2 pounds) Nothing thin and cheap. All heavy duty quality. We think it was made back in the 1950's. It has a Perko Style Look. But no signatures and actually it bit better quality. One heavy 3/8" gage loop on top with 2 small side loops on bottom to hold in down secure at Sea. Decorative cut air vents on top and bottom. Will hold standard size screw on interior wick that is sold at Hardware/Army Navy/ Sporting and Nautical ... moreStores. Screw on base lamp looks to be of soldered brass over tin possibly. Or could be all brass base lamp. The Lantern Housing itself is all thick quality solid brass. Has that perfect polished look. Vintage Nautical Weighted Oil Lamp, Gimbal-Mount Brass Boat Lantern w/ Chimney
Antique Brass Ship's Oil Lantern. Looks like it was never used. Very nice condition; only one small dent in the wick assembly. And that can probably be pushed back from behind the guard very easily. There is no maker's mark or logo on the lamp. But there is an"RV" and an anchor on the wick turn knob. The glass chimney appears to be original to the lamp. Dimensions: 12 7/8" overall. 5 3/4" from back of mounting plate for the gimbal to the outside of the lamp. Chimney measures 6 7/8" in height and is 3 1/4" in diameter, the lamp body measures 7 1/2" tall and is 3 1/2" in diameter and 4 1/4" total width including the gimbal mounting pins that project 3/8" from either side of the lamp body.
