The wicker is in very good shape- I don't see any broken areas. The paint it a bit faded. There is some discoloration inside the"Hood" but other than that, I don't see any other major flaws! It was found at an estate sale of a local antique dealer who may have added the newer upholstery. The carriage body with its fanciful curvy lines is constructed of woven wicker with a turned wood handle. Everything else is metal. The metal wheels with hard rubber rims work quite smoothly. Pictured in the ... more5th photo above is a mechanism behind the seat that controls the raising and lowering of the foot rest and seat back. There is also a parasol holder with a screw to hold it in place. Dimensions are about 40" long for the carriage with the foot rest extended and 36” with the foot rest folded back x 19" wide carriage and 24” wheel to wheel width x 36-3/4" tall(including handle) All four wheels have a diameter is 14” It weighs about 30 pounds. This buggy is in original condition with the exception of the newer upholstered side cushions. Those cushions need some attention as they are a bit loose fitting. The wicker is quite good with only a few broken reeds in the woven bottom seat along with some minor surface soiling. A slight warp to the foot rest can be seen in the photo above. Please check all photos carefully. And let me know if you want more. There is also surface oxidation and rust on the metal parts and paint loss on the handle. Another one of my estate sale Relics. The Buggy is estate fresh and needs a detailed Clening. I have done nothing to clean it. I leave the cleaning to the collectors. The opening measures approx 13 x 28. There is some slight surface rust on the chrome handle which should clean up nicely with a little chrome polish. You are viewing a Vintage Welsh Easy Fold Collapsible Baby Doll Carriage. It measures approximately 23 inches from front to back(not including the handle) It is gray and has white edges and decorative lines. The frame is all metal and the buggy is a cloth vinyl like material. The rubber on the tires are worn and show some missing pieces. However it does still roll easily. There is a small tear in the canopy(as pictured) and there is age appropriate oxidization. This is a a great piece for any collection, display, or play. Vintage Bilt-Rite Doll Baby Carriage Stroller Buggy
This is a vintage Bilt-Rite baby/doll carriage that has been in my parent's attic since about the late 1960's. I believe it was built sometime in the 1950's. Generally very good condition with working suspension. Vinyl is in good condition with no rips or tears but the top of the rail on the left side is beginning to lift. Chrome on the handle. Suspension, wheels and hubcaps is rough and would need to be replated or painted. Fogged paint on the sides of the body is in very good condition. Unfortunately because of the size and bulk of this item, I've got to make it pick-up only from Washington, NJ 07882 but I could possibly delivery within a small radius. I THINK this is a reproduction really beautiful wicker baby buggy on metal frame. Rubber rimmed metal wheels. Buggy is in excellent. The buggy is white with beige trim. Some of the screws and bolts are been replaced. It is 33" x 13" x 30" up at the handle. 22 1/2 up to top of buggy. It has twine/strings that hold up the top that hook to little knobs on the top of the basket part of the buggy. It has a little pillow that comes with it but no other bedding. Thank you for looking. The hood can flip to either end to shade baby from the sun, there is a snap on vinyl cover to protect baby from the weather and the end of the bassinet unsnaps to allow room for growth. Can be adjusted to a semi-reclined position for older babies who want to look around. The bassinet rests on a spring section that attaches to the wheel base. Carriage is very solid and sturdy, and according to vintage ads for the Wonda-chair, very hard to tip over. Bassinet can be removed and placed on the rocking base. The base of the carriage is shiny chrome and still looks fantastic. When the bassinet is removed. Along with the support piece, the chair can be attached, to make a stroller for an older child. This circa 1870s doll stroller is in really good shape for the year it was made. The body is made of rattan wicker and wood. Wheels are made from Brentwood metal with steel rims.The canopy is made of canvas. Also the canopy opens and closes. From top of canopy to bottom of wheels measures 35' the basket measures 23' long, 15' wide, the handle to the back of the basket measures 40' long. This stroller has been one of the most favorite conversation pieces in my home for years due to the strange way it looks. Stroller is in great shape, no rips, tears, broken wicker. It has been taken care of very well. Cleaned only with warm cloth to remove dust, never cleaned with any chemicals. Vintage Antique WICKER BABY Doll Toy Carriage Buggy Stroller WOOD Handle NICE!!
What a great find! We came across this fabulous early baby doll buggy with an ornate wooden handle. Sun shade canopy functions perfectly and flips from front to back easily. Wheels are intact and roll along as they should. The frame is metal. There is some paint wear on the handle- see pictures 8& 9. Let's talk about the wicker. Overall the wicker is in very good condition. There ARE spots where the wicker has torn.see pictures 6& 7. There are some loose ends also in the sun shade canopy.see last photo. Lastly it appears as if at some point in time a craftsman has made some mends as we notice a color differential in some parts of the buggy. Please review pictures carefully and let us know if you need more! In our opinion the wicker variances are minor and don't detract much at all from the overall presentation of this terrific ... morepiece. Measurements: Overall length is 26 1/2 inches-measured from handle to nose of carriage. Height is 22 inches from ground to handle. Bed(interior wooden lie down area) is 13" long.will fit dolls up to this length comfortably. The overall body integrity of this buggy is excellent! This is an example of a period carriage from the late 1800's or early 1900's. We can guarantee you this is an original manufacture for the time. 1956 or older stroller\walker. I talked to my antique guy and he told me the wooden balls behind the handle where last used in 1956 after that taylor tot started to use plastic balls and the stickers not visible. But other than that the stroller is in good shape.

Small Vintage Baby Doll Stroller Collection Toy Buggy Ratan Carriage
This Baby Doll Carriage would make a great addition to any collection. I tried to get good pictures from every view so you can see the very detailed work of art that this piece is. The buggy area(doll holder area) measures 6" long. 3 1/4" wide at the front and back, 10" tall from bottom of wheels to top of carriage, 1 3/4" wide on the inside, and the stroller handle is 3" from the buggy. The cover and inside buggy is in good condition and made out of a very thick black strong material. The buggy is made of a sturdy wood, and embellished with wicker or rattan designs on each side, and front and back. The wheels are made of cast iron, and the rods on the wood handle also. Evan if you are not a Collector of Dolls. I could think of a dozen ways this absolutly gorgeous Victorian Wicker Carraige could be used. So Charming.The Carriage is made from natural wicker with spindle wheels and dripping with ivory lacy frills. Ivory and pink ribbons, matching dried flowers and a hand made lace tatting doily. I'm not sure of it's actual age. But the relatives handling the Estate know that it has been present in the home for quite some time. The natural wicker is in fine condition. I see no sign of damage. The piece is more a prop than play wear. Though the wheels do indeed turn In two pieces. The top Cradle can be removed from the base and wheel section. The Baby Doll Carriage has been lavishly trimmed with lace applied in 3 ruffled layers and about the hood of the cradle. Accented with lavish bows. Dried and silk ... moreflowers add to the sweetest Doll Carriage ever. Inside of the cradle is a small silk and lace pillow. If all of this were not enough a true handmade Lace tatting Doily has been attached to the bottom of the Cradle. Large Antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller Carriage Buggy, Earth Brown, 1950s
Up for sale. A large antique Silver Cross Pram Baby Stroller- Carriage- Buggy. Stroller is earth brown color, made during the 1950s in Birmingham, England. The metal baby carrier can be removed off the chrome chassis. The bedding can be propped up. This is a very nice stroller. This stroller is a full size. It measures roughly 46" tall x 45" long with the handles open x 24" wide, from wheel to wheel. I don't know if the white bedding is original or not. Condition: Wear is expected of a baby carriage this old. Below I've listed everything that I see on the pram. 1) There are no tears or rips in the fabric. It looks very good. 2) On the fabric that covers the bed area. Which comes off, liguid was spilled on one area. 3) The rubber wheels and the break pad show the most wear. They are cracked and dry. 4) One of the two ... morebreak pads is missing. 5) On all four sides of the metal carrier there are a few scratches. Noticable on close inspection. 6) The chrome chassis looks good with m inimal surface rust. Except around the spokes area on the wheels. 7) T he ribbed black handle has a little white mark. Removable with the right cleaner. 8) The metal logo on the front side has part of it loose and disconnected from the rest of the logo. Seen in the 4th photo. The logo looks intact. If left alone, the logo stays intact, but if you move the last 1/2" smaller right part of the logo, it moves, which could be super glued to keep it stayed together. Shipping note: Local pick up is available in the Washington DC area. Stroller is large and heavy. I'll mail the stroller in two boxes. The shipping cost will include insurance and tracking info. I could ship this via Greyhound. The cost would be less, but there is no insurance for it, and it would be transfered from bus to bus across country.
